Learn the DIFFERENCES! You really have to know them.

Learn the differences

In the animal kingdom, lots of animals among the same range of classification often look alike.
Here are some differences I think we should be able to boast of when we see familiar ones.

A frog and A toad

1. A frog tends to hop higher and does so frequently.
---
A toad often crawl and do not hop as high as in frogs.

2. A frog has long hind limbs usually as big as the body with webbed feet since they are often found in or close to water.
---
A toad has short hind limb without web-like structure between feet as they are usually found on land.

3. A frog has a slender body with smooth skin.
---
A toad has a wide body with rough warty skin.

A crocodile and An alligator

    1. A crocodile has a pointed v-shaped snout
---
An alligator has a wide u-shaped snout

2. A crocodile's upper jaw size is almost same with the lower jaw allowing it's to bare it teeth in an interlocking manner when it closes it mouth.
---
An alligator's upper jaw is wider than it's lower jaw allowing it to conceal it's teeth to an extent.

3. Crocodiles are often found in saltwater lakes
---
Alligators are often found in freshwater marshes and lakes

4. I don't know how true but crocodiles have been discovered to be more aggressive than alligators.

A king snake and A coral snake

---
A coral snake has a red-black-yellow-black-red colour pattern. Red meets black.

2. A king snake is not venomous.
---
A coral snake is highly venomous.

3. A king snake has a long snout with red/all-black/black and yellow colour.
---
A coral snake's snout is short and always black.

4. A king snake's tail has the same colour pattern as that of the body.
---
A coral snake's tail has only the black and yellow colour.

Are there any other differences you would like to share?!!!
