**Greetings from @a-lass-wonders!!** 🙏

Hello, my fellow Steemians! 

Hope you all are doing well and I’m so **excited and busy** those days; coz there are fews days more to **celebrate my little cutie’s first birthday**🎂. As a mommy, I am really **agitated with many plans and ideas** about her birthday and the ongoing horrible epidemic has made a **huge challenge** to organize it. Anyhow with the help of my loving husband, my parents and my husband’s parents, I am planning to celebrate it on **8th of June**🥳.

Initially I need to say that, I’m really excited with this new experience and I decided to share my lovely excitement with all of my fellow steemians. I think that as a **mom of my first baby**, every mom will understand my feelings about her first birthday celebration. I do really **missed my Steemit works**😪 these days, coz of this and hope to engage with it from my earliest possible.  

We are planning to give a **smash cake** for Yohana along with the **birthday cake**. We do believe that smashing a cake will be an **interesting thing for her**. Hence, ordered smash cake and birthday cake along with some **cupcakes**. ❤️

Last week we bought **birthday decorating** items like, **colorful felt sheets, balloons and other decorating items like binding glue, double tape, some ribbons** from the book shop of Samudra Super Market in Kurunegala. Our decorations mainly will take the color of **rose**🎀, hence all are bought according to our color theme.

Few days ago, I have **started the its decorating works** and many have finished but few more works are there to be done. I used **three rose colors** which shaded from dark to light and use it to make **garlands** from it. As I planned, **need to make eight garlands** and I have done five from it now. 👇

First, I selected a **mould to draw** that circles and finally selected Yohana’s some wooden toys for that. Then I draw the sketches of circles on the felt sheets and cut them. I decided the height of the garland and then got a thread according to it and adhered the circles onto the thread using double tape.

Selected **yellow and silver as colors for the cake smash decorations** and made **flag line and letters of “ONE” by me** for that.😎

This is how I am **preparing for her special day** and still changes are going with those decorations. I will never forget to **share final decorations and her special day with my alluring Steemians**.
