<p>I am pretty sure etherium is a popular name in the digital currency world. Few days back <a href="https://www.coinbase.com/join/abhiroop85">Coinbase </a>started selling ether, that means you can now buy ether on <a href="https://www.coinbase.com/join/abhiroop85">coinbase </a>the way you were buying bitcoin. </p>
<p>Let me start by saying, I am not trying to promote Etherium , all I am saying I like this project, and trying to explain the reason. Few thousand years back Greece came up with the term "<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demokratia">Demokratia</a>" and we are still in love with the concept, the expression however has changed over time. </p>
<p>Our journey became popular with bitcoin in digital currency world, and yes, I have stopped calling these crypto currencies and adopted the term digital, digital makes it sound smarter ( in my opinion). Anyway, the idea behind etherium really got my attention, and I am totally invested in it now -</p>
<p>1. smart contract </p>
<p>2. almost real time transaction</p>
<p>3. moreover it is a platform - so either it can become a "android" or may be it will become <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbian">"symbian"</a></p>
<p>But I like the projects people are working on and I am kind of hopeful that Eth will become the Facebook. Remember, the biggest hotel does not own any building today ( Airbnb) , Uber does not have any car, so I strongly believe our future will be better with digital. </p>
<p>I do not want to talk about smart contract or do not want to be an advocate of etherium, because investment should be solely your decision and that should be based on your own research, I thought of putting the word out, and may be give you a reason to go back and do some more research, rather than listening to other people talk about it. </p>
