Be nice if they notified all their users. Never saw this have to now move my steem some where or I will be out of some $'s. What a lousy deal, at one time Poloniex could of become the industry leader in crypto exchanges.

Yeah, but where should we move it to?  Binance not an option for Americans either!

Poloniex is a garbage low volume exchange anyway. Wouldn't exactly call this much of a loss.

I do not like this, even though I don't use Poloniex.  Yeeting Steem is a negative for our community at best, and a sign of things to come more likely.

I reckon the best possible way to approach this is as an opportunity for those that keep a balance on exchanges to move them to hard wallets.  At least better financial security will come of it then.

I use Polo still, but it's a dying exchange. They appear to delist more than they list. And then the support for those coins is atrocious. Many coins have wallet issues that last for days; no deposits or withdrawals. 

Usually this type of news is highly negative, but in the instance of Poloniex, we aren't missing much. 24hr volume was around 0.3 BTC often enough.

who uses poloniex now hahah they have never opened the deposits of steem and sbd for more than two years i guess

Upsetting that's happening thanks to God none of my holdings are with that exchange

Do we know any reason behind the de-listing? Kind of strange I did not get an email as customer while others received.

From that day forward, all assets not withdrawn will belong to Poloniex. Fair warning or theft. Call it what you will.

It sucks but what can we do, the volumes always were a joke with STEEM markets. They need to inplement an internal DEX on the steemit site that would allow us to keep our crypto close by instead of on these centralized exchanges. 

Luckily I dont keep funds on Poloniex anymore, or on any other smaller exchange.
