If you have had a passion for robots when you were a kid or even thought of building your own now it's your chance. Walrus v1.0 is the latest robot created by [rabbitrobots](http://www.rabbitrobots.com/index.php?route=common/home) and it is almost all that you can imagine for learning robotics while assembling your own robot. 

The learning process begins from the moment you open the package delivered to you by **rabbitrobots** as the robot kit is unassembled so you can use your imagination and attention to details on assembling it while following its instructions on the process. 

The educational robotic kit has its own assembly video and tutorials that will help the robotic enthusiast build his won robot while learning robotics, programming, interfacing, micro controllers and more along the process.

Throughout the "creation process" process the user will have to download [Arduino programs](https://www.geeky-gadgets.com/dede-debug-and-development-arduino-shield-11-07-2018/), assemble robots parts, solder, route wires and why not even test and modify the robot's programs , but it will sure be a challenging process. 

After getting through tutorials and other "schooling" offered by **rabbitrobots** and having a 100% Arduino-compatible controller on-board of your Walrus v1.0 nothing will stop you to become a pro in creating your own robot programs and play with your "fresh robotic knowledge" to make it your own. Thus imagination is a must for having a good learning-play with the robotic learning kit. 

The robot can be controlled, after assembling it, via Bluetooth with an android smartphone or smart tablet, an iPhone or a PC. It needs though as accessories an IR Remote control and IR receiver, a Wifi Communications ESP8266, Infrared Line Tracking Attachment which can be also bought from the manufacturer, and it will cost you a few bucks extra, but I'd say it's worth it for an enthusiast. 

The materials used in making the parts of the robot are of high durability polymer plastic so you won't have to worry about dropping it off the working table or down the stairs. It sells at $50 on their official website and I say that it is a bargain for the one that had a "crush" for robots and playing with them in childhood and haven't missed an episode from Transformers. Shipping is only available for US unfortunately and that's the only con that I found for the product.
