🎨Longing for Spring_Original watercolours on paper

These are two watercolour drawings about the colors of Spring and the first buds on the branches. I'm fascinated in this season to see how plants get out of the ground. I like to see the first snowdrops, first tulips and lilies.

My flowers in these drawings are species of the genus *Salix* (willows and sallows), some of the first that blossom on Spring and very popular. 

Bearing in mind that recently began the New Chinese Year, do you know that in Chinese tradition these willow buds represent the coming of prosperity?
