I owe the fact that I have been running more and more for three months (although I hated running in the past) to my friend Max @mcnestler.

He motivated me to start running at all! I am very thankful to him! The picture was taken yesterday by someone from the ParkRun management. The guy on the right is of course me. Such a picture of me would never exist if Max hadn't asked me to run. After all, he only started running three months ago too.

Today was the Tegernsee run in which Max took part. He registered for the half marathon and completed it in 2 hours 02 minutes 27 seconds. A great performance! The track is very hilly, but is just beautiful, because it revolves around the lake in alpine surroundings.

Tegernsee is about 50 km south of Munich and this race is held every year. Around 4000 runners took part in the race. Maybe I'll register for it next year. But I still have some serious training to do in order to finish a half marathon!

Ich verdanke die Tatsache, dass ich seit drei Monaten (obwohl ich das Laufen früher hasste) immer mehr laufe, meinem Freund Max @mcnestler.

Er motivierte mich, überhaupt mit dem Laufen anzufangen! Ich bin ihm sehr dankbar dafür! Das Bild wurde gestern von jemandem aus dem ParkRun-Management aufgenommen. Der Typ auf der rechten Seite bin natürlich ich. Ein solches Bild von mir würde es nie geben, wenn Max mich nicht gefragt hätte, mal mit dem Laufen anzufangen. Schließlich hat er erst selbst vor drei Monaten damit begonnen.

Heute war der Tegernseer Lauf, an dem Max teilnahm. Er meldete sich für den Halbmarathon an und absolvierte ihn in 2 Stunden 02 Minuten 27 Sekunden. Eine großartige Leistung! Die Laufstrecke ist sehr hügelig, ist aber traumhaft sein, denn er umrundet den See in alpenländischer Landschaft.

Der Tegernsee liegt ca. 50 km südlich von München. Der Volkslauf wird jedes Jahr ausgetragen. Es nahmen ca. 4000 Läufer teil. Vielleicht melde ich mich nächstes Jahr dafür an. Aber ich habe noch ein ernsthaftes Training vor mir um das zu schaffen!

Unfortunately not, because there isn't popular in Belgium. Instead of they're doing a lot of 5-10 km races, and I ran them, but it was long ago, currently I just enjoy the running. Good luck, I hope someday you complete you first 21,0975 km.
