Good day crypto investors and lovers. Trust we are having great days ahead. As crypto lovers, we have benefited in one or two ways from the advancements of the space through block chain. Blockchain is in several ways the big influencer behind all these innovations we witness on daily basis.
The inception of this blockchain has brought more good than bad. The positive effects of the technology can widely be seen and felt in virtually all ecosystems say, the Gaming ecosystem, Financial hub, Agriculture ecosystem, oil and gas sector and Freelance market place being the subject of today's discourse etc. We cannot fully exhaust these ecosystems. In a layman's language, there are two important concepts I'd like to explain in a nutshell. What or who is a Freelancer? What is Freelance?
WHAT OR WHO IS A FREELANCER?
A freelancer may not necessarily work as a content editor for a magazine house or newspaper. A freelancer is more than a writer who writes out of passion for the pay. A Freelancer is more like a person who exhibits his or her various talents and potentials for a person or an organization. Such freelancer may work as a writer, designer, photo editor,video editor performer, or maybe someone who renders services by hours or days for payments.
WHAT IS FREELANCE?
Freelance is the act of working rendering out some services to some persons, groups or organizations rather than being employed by the organization to perform one or more services at certain payments. For freelancers, are self employed who get to be paid either on hourly or dail basis as the case maybe.
OVERVIEW OF THE FREELANCE MARKET!
Coming to the major discourse of this publication being the FREELANCE MARKET place, this is indeed one of the most dignified and lucrative ecosystem where one gets to become the boss of his or her own. A market place which has generated more revenues in recent and past times. Recently, a research and a study has it that, coming to the freelance market, the economy is booming. At least, 56.7 million Americans currently working as freelancers today. Not just that, a survey has it that up to 6,001 workers have been commissioned by the giant freelance platform Upwork and the Freelancers Union.

"According to a report called “Future Working: The Rise of Europe’s Independent Professionals”, the European freelance economy looks like the following:Freelance numbers have increased by 45% from just under 6.2 million to 8.9 million in 2013, making them the fastest growing group in the EU labour market." From the above situations, we can see the uptrends in the freelance market economy. This is quite impressive. We cannot talk about the Freelance without acknowledging the most commonly used FREELANCE market places such as Fiverr, Freelancer.com etc. As lucrative and popular as the Freelance market seem to be, it isn't without flaws. It isn't without prevailing issues distorting its smooth running operations. These problems shall be discussed in the subsequent paragraphs:
1. A big blow on the Freelance market is exorbitant transaction fees for instance, in freelance markets like Fiverr, charges users at least 40% transaction fees. This is a major threat to the industry.
2. Another issue is that of restrictions. That is, regional restrictions. For instance, Fiverr places a high restrictions for users in some of the African countries especially Nigeria. Making it almost impossible for a Nigerian user to make use of the platform.
3. Another prevailing issue is where there is too many rules, intermediaries in the structure which makes it complex, expensive, inefficient and totally discouraging for old and new freelancers
4. Another major issue is the mode and currency for transactions on the platform. For instance, instead of using the normal dollar ($) currency or other local currencies on these Freelance market, withdrawals and payments are processed in PAYPAL making it difficult for those users within countries where PAYPAL isn't used to get their funds delayed etc.
