Consumer Content 1.0.
**Dear Steemit Community**

Some of the best consumer content has been created by consumers themselves , often unconsciously. From the birth of YouTube in February 2005 to Felix Baumgartner's space jump sponsored by Red Bull last October, this is what we can call the age of CGC 1.0.

To keep the analogy with PGCs (consumer goods) it's a bit like the best deodorant or toothpaste comes from a consumer rather than a brand.

Consumer Content 2.0
We have now entered the era of CGC 2.0. This is an exciting step for the creation of consumer content because, unlike in the early days, it is now professional creators who work for or with brands and you should genrate a good and unique content, rather than amateurs. enthusiasts who sought to capitalize on trends and make their companions laugh, with an often unequal quality.

Some examples of brand content:

The Carambar jokes. The candy maker becomes a joke editor: this content strengthened the brand and associated it with childish humor with a strong sympathy value.
The Michelin guides. The tire manufacturer becomes the publisher of a series of tourist and gastronomic guides.
Nestlé's Growing up is for life  site : a site full of information for pregnant women and new mothers.

Hydrastation  truck  .  It will stop in 20 seaside resorts in France, to inform holidaymakers about the importance of staying hydrated.

The future will be one of content and ideas , driven by our information bulimia and the need to quickly produce effective content that can shine before being replaced by the next trending content. So we're seeing the reign of fast-paced consumer content. And its success essentially depends on its impact: social effect and sharing. We are already at the heart of this movement which will accelerate further in the future.
