The extract

To innovate by thinking individually, by taking a step back, by shifting is necessary but not enough. Without communication and without willingness to share and support all employees in the new project, any innovation has a strong chance of dying before it has even started to live. In order to facilitate the acceptance of projects by the company and its ecosystem, a collaborative approach should be set up, both internally and externally.

Reasoning collectively and developing co-construction
This requires a profound transformation of marketing: no longer to be “knowing” but to be a facilitator, an integrator rather than a doer. It is a crossbreeding of external experiences which requires openness to suppliers, communities, centers of expertise, CCIs, etc. It is to bring together commercial enterprise, integration actions and social entrepreneurship. It also means taking advantage of support and aid for innovation (…) while opening up critical reflection externally with NGOs, experts, researchers, academics, stakeholders, etc. You should therefore not hesitate to join forces with specialized partners to co-construct the offer.

The Danone case: moving from idea to action through co-construction

it is an idea that is apparently unprofitable (quantities too low, limited margins, difficulties of access). By co-developing it with the company La Petite Reine (bicycle delivery), Proxicity now enables young people in integration to benefit from skills training while creating new distribution channels and jobs. All while reducing its carbon impact.

The interest of the book
A clear and structured overview of the questions to ask yourself in order to set up a sustainable marketing approach.

Each chapter follows the same logic:

brief introduction to the topic;
a table presenting the obstacles, opportunities and conditions for success;

a case study from A to Z to close.
