There's a time when you probably wanted to make a post/comment from your phone on steemit, but you didn't go through with it because you didn't know how to put a picture.

Well today in this tutorial I will show you how to add images to your posts or comments.

I have tested it only on Android, but it should work for iOS too.

Before we jump to the main part, I wanted to tell you how can you send your steemit password to your phone so you can avoid writing it letter by letter, number by number. You can log in to your facebook on your PC, search yourself in the messenger and send it to yourself. Open the Facebook Messenger and copy the password, go to steemit.com and log in.

Now back to the main part, for this tutorial we need an Android app that lets us upload pictures and get their link. We need "Uploader for Imgur", you can download it from Google Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.moosen.imgur&hl=en), this app will unlock a new Share method to your photos, you just select the photo you want to put on the site and click the Imgur icon like in the picture below.

After you press the Share icon a new window should appear above your current picture that lets you select a way to share this picture. In this new windows you need to select the Imgur icon.

Now you picture is being uploaded to imgur, the app will open and you'll have an option to Copy the link, click it and now you have your picture ready for Steemit.

Now you can go back to your Android browser and paste this link inside your post or comment and your picture will appear, you don't need any html or markdown tags, it works like this.

This method works for Android smartphones and tablets and it should work for iOS devices too.
