Hi Guys,

Round 17 is all done and now just 2 games left to before Finals. 

There is a log jam between 7 teams fighting for the last 2 spots in the 8 and we look set for a thrilling finish to the season. 

Farqers had the Bounty chance against my undefeated side (@Dahmsy79) but could only muster a 998 compared to my 1690. 

Piston-Broke has all but wrapped up his Top 4 spot with a strong 1322 - 1177 victory over Steemit Huskies. 

The loss see's the Huskies still in the 8 but in danger from the chasing pack. 

DBLSTR had the other Bounty chance this week against Lockout (@o07) but could not get the job done, losing 1092 - 1307. 

The victory all but seals a Top 4 birth for 2nd placed Lockout and all but ruins DBLSTR's chances of making the Top 8. 

Medhurst Minions continued his late season charge towards the Top 8 with a 1574 - 909 victory over Kulate. 

The percentage booster will be very helpful to the 9th placed Minions and he will be a real wildcard come finals time should he make it. 

In the battle for a Top 4 spot it was Playing for Draft Picks who picked up a fantastic win over I Wear Footy Pajamas in a close one. 

The Picks narrowly won 1454 - 1429 and moves into the Top 4. 

The Pajamas move down to 5th but only percentage out of the Top 4. 

The Cunning Stunts is Back Again has found some form just in the nick of time to keep his finals chances alive. 

They upset the Little Old Lady 1333 - 1109. 

The loss means the Old Lady is not yet mathematically safe in the Top 8 but is 2 games clear with only 2 games to go. 

Lions4Life was in 9th place heading into this Round and had a must win game with 8th placed Mmeow. 

With the help of a fit again Rory Sloane pulled off a vital victory over Mmeow, 1326 - 1129. 

The Lions now move into the Top 4 while Mmeow drops to 10th, well and truly part of the logjam. 

Brockies Superstars kept his finals chances alive while dealing a blow to the Might Fitzroy Lions chances winning 1449 - 1237. 

Both teams are in contention but would need to win their last 2 games and hope other results go their way. 

Taking a look at the Top 8 I will include percentages for all the teams that haven't locked up a finals spot:

Taking a look at the Round 18 Fixtures that will shape the 8 now: 

My top placed side (@Dahmsy79) takes on 3rd placed Piston-Broke (@Sparkesy43). 

The Pistons are safely in the Top 4 but will be eyeing off the Bounty and breaking my winning streak. 

2nd placed Lockout (@o07) shouldn't have too many troubles against the out of contention Farqers but their is a Bounty on the line for Farqers if he is good enough. 

7th placed Steemit Huskies will be desperate for a victory to sure up his Top 8 spot but will not have an easy time of it against the in form Medhurst Minions. 

The Minions have been banging the Top 8 door down now for a while and this could be the week he gets in. 

I Wear Footy Pajamas will have a great opportunity to keep the Top 4 pressure on Playing for Draft Picks as he will be favoured to defeat DBLSTR. 

The Cunning Stunts is Back Again should keep his Finals chances alive for another week atleast with a victory over Kulate. 

Playing for Draft Picks needs to win to keep her spot in the Top 4 but has a tough match up against Lions4Life who will be equally desperate for the win to keep his spot in the 8. 

Little Old Lady can lock in his Top 8 spot and eliminate the Might Fitzroy Lions from the Finals chase with a victory this weekend. 

In an early elimination final we have 10th placed Mmeow playing 11th placed Brockies Superstars. 

The loser will most likely be out of contention for Finals action.
