ENG- As already mentioned in some posts of the past, the airbrush as well as being a fun tool also has a great advantage: it can be used on a wide range of surfaces. Wood, metal, plastic, curved or flat surfaces, just have some ideas and a little knowledge of materials and you can really change the face of different objects, maybe banal or out of fashion, making them unique and original! I think this is the greatest capacity of the airbrush.
Below I leave you some special items that I have decorated over the years.

*ITA - Come già accennato in alcuni post del passato, l'aerografo oltre a essere uno strumento divertente ha anche un grande vantaggio: si può usare su una vastissima tipologia di superfici. Legno, metallo, plastica, superfici curve o piatte, basta avere qualche idea e un po' di conoscenza dei materiali e si può davvero cambiare volto a diversi oggetti magari banali o fuori moda rendendoli unici e originali! Credo sia questa la maggiore capacità dell'aerografo.
Di seguito vi lascio alcuni oggetti particolari che ho decorato negli anni.*

# Queen of the snow | *Regina delle nevi*

ENG - This is a design I did on a "Santa Cruz" snowboard. At the top, according to the owner's instructions, a snow owl was represented, while below a glimpse of Monte Rosa.
Before moving on to the drawing made with water-based acrylics, as in most cases the surface was sanded, then a primer coat was applied to the material and a final varnish was carried out in the bodywork.

*ITA - Questo è un disegno che ho fatto su uno snowboard "Santa Cruz". In alto, secondo indicazioni del proprietario, è stata rappresentata una civetta delle nevi, mentre in basso uno scorcio del Monte Rosa.
Prima di passare al disegno fatto con acrilici ad acqua, come nella maggior parte dei casi la superficie è stata opacizzata, poi  è stata data una mano di primer (o aggrappante) adeguato al materiale e infine è stata fatta una laccatura in carrozzeria.*

ENG - This was a wood mini surf, beautiful in shape but the original colors were a bit discounted. I thought of doing this design inspired by those mini boards that are often found in waterfront shops.

*ITA - Questo era un mini surf in legno, bella nella forma ma i colori originali erano un po' scontati. Ho pensato di fare questo disegno ispirandomi a quelle mini tavole che si trovano spesso nei negozi sul lungomare.*

# Signs of nature | *Segni della natura*

ENG - One day a friend of mine brings me a piece of thick and hard plastic, and tells me: "I do not know, I thought maybe you could do some experiment ...". No sooner said than done. This was a piece that I used as a sign in some exhibitions. With this aim I have tried to take care of the details and to highlight some effects that the airbrush can give.

*ITA - Un giorno un mio amico mi porta un pezzo di plastica bello robusto, e mi dice: "Non so, ho pensato che magari potevi farci qualche esperimento...". Detto, fatto. Questo è stato un pezzo che ho usato come insegna in alcune esposizioni. Avendo questo scopo ho cercato di curare bene i dettagli e di mettere in risalto alcuni effetti che l'aerografo può dare.*

# Do it yourself | Fallo tuo

ENG - Sometimes a little touch is enough to make personal, original and unique objects. I think this attitude, in a world of great numbers, has something ancient and fascinating. **Do you customize your objects? Which techniques do you use?**

*ITA - A volte basta un piccolo tocco per rendere degli oggetti personali, originali e unici. Penso che questa attitudine, in un mondo di grandi numeri, abbia qualcosa di antico e affascinante. **Voi personalizzate i vostri oggetti? Quali tecniche usate?***
