India is the biggest democracy in the world where "Electronic Voting Machines" aka EVMs, are used for casting votes. This machine is very helpful in counting the total numbers of votes but, it has also been controversial as the opposition parties blame that it can be manipulated and its use is not fair and transparent. 
Even the paper ballets were not so safe as it was very easy to swap ballet boxes and manipulate the results. 
So, what is the solution? 
Can blockchain technology be used to organize fair, transparent and inexpensive elections?
