LAW N ° 46 (Never shown too perfect) #Summary

Greetings Steemians, here again with the forty-sixth, I hope you like it

__Author of the book:__ "Robert Greene and Joost Elffers"

**Warning:** This type of book talks about how people can impose power over others, but the goal of learning is to have the point of view of the two sides of the coin, one can use it to your advantage or another that you do not allow others to use it with you, for that reason I only tell you the summary of each law which will help me and you, and it is up to you to act on that since I do not agree with everyone the concepts raised and I think that you too will not be.

We will talk about the forty-sixth

NEVER SHOW TOO PERFECT

> __
CRITERION
__
It is always dangerous to be superior to others, but the most dangerous thing of all is to appear free of all flaws or weakness. Envy generates silent enemies. The smart thing is to reveal, from time to time, their defects and admit harmless vices, in order to deflect envy and appear more human and accessible. Only the gods and the dead can seem perfect with impunity.

>__
TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW
__
Joe Orton met Kenneth Halliwell at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London in 1953. In a short time, both young men decided to live together as lovers. After graduating from the stage arts, they decided to give up acting due to their lack of talent as actors. , and they dedicated themselves to writing together.
The inheritance of Halliwell was enough to allow them to live for a few years without fixed work, when beginning to write it was Halliwell who was the motivator of the stories and novels that they wrote, since he used to dictate texts to Orton, so that he added something and write to machine, which attracted the interest of literary but such talent was stuck in the simple curiosity.
At the end of Halliwell's legacy, the future of both was black.
In 1957 Orton began writing on his own until they were the couple sentenced to six months in prison for spoiling public library books, upon leaving prison he found his own voice and expressed his contempt towards British society through theatrical farces.
But on returning the papers were reversed, Orton was the author of what they wrote and Halliwell provided comments.
In 1964 Orton presented his first theatrical work that was widely accepted, thus emerging a great writer, from there his successes would go ascending with a dizzying pace.
When he released his new book his popularity grew even more and he was very much in demand to write film scripts.
Orton's relationship with Halliwell was deteriorating every time, since only one of them was the center of attention and the other relegated to a kind of personal assistant.
Halliwell was considered the opposite of Orton, so the coexistence was not as pleasant by the oscillations of mind that the two had, Orton decided to help with his own carra as a plastic artist and got him a gallery for his exhibition, but the same it was a failure, after that it intensified his inferiority that Halliwell had compared to Orton.
Outside, Halliwell was so happy with Orton's success, but inside he was furious, but a few days after helping Orton with the final touches of the sinister farce What the Butler Saw (no doubt his masterpiece). Kenneth Halliwell murdered Joe Orton with repeated hammer blows to the head. Then he ingested twenty-one sleeping pills and died in turn.

__
INTERPRETATION
__
His illness was outright envy against Orton was not something of another world, at the beginning of their careers live in equanimity, after Orton was successful, the diaries that Orton wrote clearly reflected the bitterness of Halliwell to the success of Orton, the only thing he would be able to compensate for was that he failed and thus be equal in the same measure in the consolation of his defeats, but Halliwell resorted to the only way to return to being the same: death.
Once you know the success, the people who need to worry the most will be the one closest to you, because with your triumph you will leave them behind. Feelings of inferiority will gnaw at your insides especially if you hold onto it, and thus intensifying your feelings of stagnation when compared to you, therefore those people will undermine your person, and you will not be able to see it until one day you will come to feel it. The best strategy for the contingency of envy is to find new friends, but it is also to disguise their brilliance often revealing flaws or attributing it to luck.

>__
OBSERVANCE OF THE LAW
__
The class of merchants and the guilds of artisans who had created a republic free of all oppression by the nobility, since no one could exercise power durably.
The Medici family was one of these who lived in this system without standing out as a typical middle class citizen, but all this began to change when Giovanni de 'Medici got a great fortune through banking, it was already the beginning to start to stand out.
After the death of Giovanni, Cosimo his son took charge of the family business and demonstrated his great ability to become one of the leading families of bankers in Europe.
But they had in Florence such a powerful and influential rival the Albizzi, who monopolized the government. Cosimo showed no resistance, the opposite supported and remained in the background.
With time the Medici fortune was so evident, and the Albizzi felt threatened therefore they used their influences in the government to conspire and in the end they exiled Cosimo, himself who was affected and went unnoticed.
At last a civil war was established in the city due to fear of the citizens that the Albizzi tried to establish a dictatorship, they were exiled, and Cosimo returned to Florence recovering his power, having two options another eminent threat if not nothing or the envy of the people.
Solved this problem by using their wealth to buy influence among other key citizens and locate them as their allies thus hiding their relationship with them, therefore the republic was governed nominally. Who managed Cosimo.
Cosimo camouflaged himself with people in clothes and culture, always feeling respect for all people to the point of giving money to various charities and maintaining bonds of friendship with the people of the town. Cosimo rejected ostentatious designs of his things and chose the most humble Florentine origin, in the end everything was simplicity on the outside but elegant and opulent interior.

__"The extraordinary things that are seen and appear in view at every moment awaken much more envy in men than those that are made and covered with a cloak of decency".__

__
INTERPRETATION
__
One of Cosimo's experiences was __"Envy is an herb that should not be watered"__, for that reason in a democratic environment, Cosimo made it possible for him not to look like someone of greatness, but that does not mean it should be turn off or live mediocre, but only play with the appearance thus diverting the envy of the masses, showing themselves like them and forming alliances with those who believe inferior thus elevating them to a better position and gaining their adhesion in times of need, but without their wealth becomes present as an influence buyer.
Never be so naive in believing that his ostentation and arrogance will awaken the admiration of people, what will awaken is the unhappy admiration, the camouflaged envy that will end up weakening and even ending with his being.
What matters is not the superiority that you emanate over others; but the real real

__
KEYS TO ACHIEVE THE POWER
__
One of the most difficult things that a human being has is to be able to control their feelings in regard to their position, since when confronted with a superior power we often feel discomfort with our aspects since we think how mediocre we are or not as bright as we thought.

https://steemitimages.com/DQmfNHPab4ocgUdNXgSYAzLxpneeVNUextC6HRwRDKHo4Ke/image.png

This disturbance of our image will sooner or later emanate negative emotions, first by not feeling good about ourselves, thinking that having the abilities and qualities of those "superior" people our lives would change, and if we do not, the best way is for the other nor enjoy that happiness, therefore there appears envy in a clandestine way by not admitting with other people as close as they are to envy, and we camouflage it in many ways: through comparative criticism, another through excessive praise.

The ways to handle the destructive envy, is to accept that there will be individuals who will somehow be superior to you, the best way is to accept that you might get to envy them, take it as motivation and expel it to be able to rise higher.
The other is to understand that when you gain power you will generate envy, so do not naively accept the façade that you are shown and learn to read those subtle or sometimes exaggerated expressions or expressions of other people.
It is much easier to avoid envy before it appears, since trying to apologize will make the problem more serious.
One is to blame for the unstoppable envy of people especially these types of individuals when they make a great fuss at times of luck or self-effort, doing and pleasing themselves that they are superior to others.

Another type of people who possess great natural talents but generate envy in a subtle but equally dangerous way, must work to the maximum to hide their natural brightness since these can not be acquired by other people, so from time to time they must commit some defects in order to neutralize envy.

When you are above your former peers, it is convenient to emphasize the success you have had with luck so that it is accessible for all people to reach it, but beware of farce modesty as it will only intensify your envy by giving them understand that you do it for pity or that you are not able to do it on your own. Envy can not hurt you if you lack all ambition, since people can not envy the power that they have conferred on a person who does not I wanted.

Finally be aware that certain environments are more conducive to envy than others and that it is almost impossible to avoid envy in such cases, and can almost do nothing but accept it with height and not take it as something personal.
"Envy is the tax that must pay the distinction"

__
INVALIDATION
__
The main reason for acting cautiously with envious people is because they are indirect and will find ways to undermine it.
Sometimes envy is installed by mistake you must choose the opposite action: show your supremacy and contempt towards the other when you have a difficult position to undermine so others will be caught in envy, while you are free in your power , or when a trap of envy that a person produces instead of giving him the pleasure disguising his ambitions, in few circumstances could trap that trap as an opportunity to highlight his power and the other to highlight his petty envy.
