The spoiled king learns a lesson - Reading piece for big and small

<h3>Once upon a time there was a king that was very spoiled.  He only thought about himself and he was use to getting everything he wanted and everything had to go his way.</h3>

<p>He had many servant and all the people that lived in his land, had to obey the rules that he set.  He did not care what other people thought or felt, he just worried about himself.</p>
<p>He would command and the rest had to listen.  He would complain a lot and nothing was ever good enough for him.  He also did not appreciate the things that he had.</p>
<p>His word was law and he saw no problem with it, even if he was wrong sometimes, he just expected everybody to obey him and do what ever he asked.</p>
<p>One morning while the king was out on his morning stroll in the forest, he complained to his servant that his feet were hurting.</p>
<p>&quot;There are too many stones and sticks in this forest.  A king is suppose to be able to take a walk without getting hurt.&quot;</p>
<p>The servants just looked at each other, because they did not understand what the problem was.  Everybody knew that the forest was full of sticks and stones and if you could not stand walking there, why did you go there?</p>
<p>But the king was adamant to find a solution.</p>
<p>&quot;I will find somebody that will cover the whole forest with soft material, so that if I walk in the forest on my bare feet it will not hurt.  Go and find somebody immediately who can do this,&quot;  the king shouted at the servants.</p>
<p>In the village lived a very clever young man called Bright.  He heard about the king&#x27;s demand and decided that he had a better plan.</p>
<p>The king offered a lot of gold to the person who would come up with an idea and the right material to cover the forest floor.</p>
<p>Bright went to the king and told him that it will be better to cover the king&#x27;s feet instead of changing the whole forest.  The king did not think this was a good idea - since it was not his own - and just laughed and told Bright to go away.</p>

<p>Bright told the king to give him a chance to proof to him that his idea could work.  With a lot of moaning and groaning the king at last agreed to give Bright a chance to show him that his plan could work.</p>
<p>Bright made the king some soft shoes made from animal skin.  He put in a lot of effort and made sure that it would fit just right.</p>
<p>The day came when Bright took the shoes to the king.  The king was a bit skeptical but he put on the shoes and went for a walk in the forest.</p>
<p>He could not believe how soft and comfortable the shoes were and that his feet did not hurt anymore.</p>
<p>The king gave Bright his gold but he also learned a lesson.</p>
<h3>He learned that all people have their own ideas and sometimes we need to listen to others.  We can&#x27;t always expect that things just go our way.  </h3>
<h3>Sometimes we need to act less spoiled and care about other people and their opinions and they will surprise us.</h3>
