You have difficulty spotting her among the loads of kids also coming to hang out, but she still loves going there.</p> <p>She wakes up at 9 o'clock in the morning, gets dress and takes extra care with putting on make up. The make up must last the whole day. She does not have time to go back and forth to the bathroom to check on her make up ... she does not want to miss out on anything.</p> <p>Every morning is like a ritual. She wakes up, get dressed, put on make up, eat breakfast and then her mom takes her to the mall and she can be the 'bell of the ball' at the ice rink.</p> <p>She chats to her friends and laughs and skates a bit and keep her eye on the group of boys on the other side of the rink, and Joanne and her friend are not suppose to go there, because it is only for the 'Pro's'. The ones that can skate good and fast.</p> <p>Those boys are older than her and they are rough, but she likes the one with the ring in his nose. Everywhere he goes she follows, She flirts with him and she is in love, but she knows she must keep away from that side, before they ban her from the ice rink and she never sees him again.</p> <p>In the afternoon she has to wait outside, until her mom comes and picks her up. She would love to stay later, but her mom decided it is to dangerous at the ice skate ring at nigh.</p> <p><em>My mom can be so boring and worries too much. I wish I was an adult already that I could make my own decisions.</em></p> <p><em>I wonder why she is so late today</em>, Joanne wonders, more with irritation than worry.</p> <p>And then she sees it.....</p> <h3>Activity</h3> <p><strong>Complete the story in the way you want it to end.
