Walking around Rhine river in Basel

Basel city is located in the northwest of Switzerland not far from the borders to France and Germany, a beautiful city with three countries easy to visit.

*Basel-Stadt liegt im Nordwesten der Schweiz unweit der Grenzen zu Frankreich und Deutschland, einer schönen Stadt mit drei Ländern, die leicht zu besuchen ist.*

The Rhine flows, from Constance to Schaffhausen where it plunges 20 m into the Rhine Falls and then to Basel. In the summer months it is a pleasure to swim in the Rhine.

Der Rhein fliesst von Konstanz nach Schaffhausen wo er im Rheinfall 20 m in die Tiefe stürzt und dann nach Basel. In den Sommermonaten ist es ein Vergnügen, im Rhein zu schwimmen.

Ich fahre öfter über den Rhein bei Duisburg wenn ich nach Rheinberg muss. Leider hatte ich schon sehr lange nicht mehr die Zeit auch mal am Rhein spazieren zu gehen.
