A few days ago, I watched a documentary on Netflix about money and about credit cards. What was it about? It told the story of how Americans just have a credit card for everything, and how the banks are hoping that people will have trouble actually paying their debts. Those who are good at paying are called transactions, while those who often delay payments are the so-called revolvers. Now, guess which people the banks prefer? Those who are delayed with their payments. Do you know why? Because they will end up paying much more in the end. 

Think about the fact that you are buying one computer worth $1000 and use your credit card. For the first 30 days, there is no THM. But, then after that, you will start to pay interest. If you pay within 30 days, the problem is solved and everything is okay.

But, if you decide to pay it in smaller parts and divide it into 12 months, then you will pay maybe $90 per month. But, there is a minimum amount that has to be paid, and since you are in trouble one month, you only pay $50. That is fine, but suddenly you are paying for 13 months or 14 months or 15 months instead. In the end, you end up paying $1200 for the computer instead of $1000. Not only is that a problem, but you also have other purchases made with credit cards adding up to to the trouble.

WHat is happening? You are pushing difficulties ahead, and it is just making the difficulties grow.

Don't procrastinate with your money, pay now, pay ahead, but don't delay. It is just making problems grow!
