Developed on three islands on the inlet of the Pacific Ocean coast situated on southern California, the Naples is positioned on the adjoining end of the Long Beach California. The three islands are separated through an inland waterway with open at the cove of Pacific Ocean’s coast. There is huge water fountain at the center of the Naples that functions as a popular spot for family meetings and gatherings.

Upon its development, the project was envisioned as the “Dreamland of Southern California” and that’s why it was given a unique infrastructure of underground waterways and bridges that paved the way for gondoliers so that they can propel their ships and boats in the same manner as it is done in the clear waters of Adriatic in Italy. Although the project based on this model reached its completion in 1920, after the earthquake that struck the southern part of California and causes massive destruction at large scale in 1993, Naples was reconstructed on the same vision.

Let us now look at the different activities on the Naples, Long Beach California that aims to give visitors water fun, merriment and make their time memorable:

The fun at the gentle bosom of Mother Beach:
Marina beach or the Mother Beach is a perfect place for picnics, volleyball tournaments filled with and fun and a play area to keep the little ones busy in their own world of activities. The reason why this fun-filled spot is called a “Mother Beach” is that it is the area where waves are gentle, the swimming area has shallow waters, and there is staunch lifeguard protection in those seasons when seas are rough. The grassy play area is a perfect setting for kids to become busy in outdoor fun.

Romantic trips in narrow canoes:
Through the romantic inland waterway s of the Naples, there are private tours via gondolas where the tourists would get a Venice ambiance. Since 1892, the Gondola Getaway is offering canoe rides to the tourists. In this respect, Naples come under the list of eight major places on the western side of the United States where the tourists can get gondola rides.

The beautiful boats of the Christmas parade:
It has been a custom of Naples since 1946, of Christmas procession taking place each year on Christmas Eve. In this parade, groups of different decorative colorful boats propelling through the canals of Naples and taking a round of the bay of Alamitos.
