I woke up yesterday's morning feeling so worried and disturbed. I was so scared of what the future holds for me, with a lot of thoughts pouring in like water. At some point, I began to have all manner of negative vibes concerning my life. I was so weak that I could barely have my normal morning prayer, but I managed to open my morning devotion booklet. Let me say this; we serve a great God that sees the future and understands whatever we are going through. He is always there to encourage us with His word, you want to know why?


I opened the morning devotion booklet. The topic for the day was centred on how I was feeling at that moment. It talked about how Jesus felt so overwhelmed and wanted the cup to pass over him. According to the writer, it's okay to be concerned about certain things, but the bottom line is that God is always in control. What I want to point out is this; God sees the future, He knew someone like me would need such encouragement on that particular so He used the writer of that morning devotion booklet to speak to me just to let me know He is my future. 


**You know, it's okay to be scared once in a while. We are humans after all, but what kind of assurance do you get afterwards? Frankly speaking, after I had my morning devotion, I got back my strength in the Lord. I had this assurance that God is working out something to make everything alright. Do you know what it means to have Jesus look out for you? He knows, his child somewhere will feel disturbed on a day like that & He made sure the situation was brought under control that is who He is.**

My dear brothers and sisters in the Lord, whatever you're passing through right now, however, you are feeling right now, God is sending me to you right now to be courageous. Don't be afraid for the future. Don't think you will not end well. Jesus got you covered. He will not allow you to be put to shame. No matter what the devil is painting in your heart, trying to make it seem impossible to be great in life, don't ever give in to his baseless arguments.


**We are expected to look unto Jesus as our role model, who came into this world to show us how to live. He felt this pain, he understands what it means to be unwanted & not loved by many. What you are feeling right now is not abnormal because Jesus also felt that way too, but it will become abnormal when you let your thoughts take charge over your life. Yes, Jesus felt so pained, but he did something to regain his strength. He went up to the mountain to pray and to communicate with His Father in heaven. He prayed for a few hours to regain and to be reassured by God Himself. God will never leave you alone in the darkness. He will hold your hands & guide you through the darkness. Please, do not give up on your future because God is in control. I am not saying this because everything is rosy for me, but I am saying this because I believe and trust in God.**


Let's take a look at the story of Hanna, just imagine what she went through, all the sleepless nights, and all her pains even when she was loved by her husband, but what happened at the end? The God that makes the impossible to be possible showed at a point when she almost gave up. He is never late to any situation even when you think it's late. He is the greatest movie director of all times, the master planner. Jesus got us covered, but there is one thing we have to do. We have to humble ourselves before him as people who are helpless until he steps in. We can't rub shoulders with the Lord. They say you can't serve two masters at the same time. Choose ye this day who you will serve. Make this decision and stand by it. As for me and everything in me, we will serve the Almighty God because He has proven to be my God.

# In conclusion, 
Do you feel disturbed? Do you feel life is not worth living? Do you feel unloved, and not sure what the future holds? My dear, sometimes we all feel this way too, but one thing is certain, God is not disturbed. He loves you and has great plans for us. Don't think no one will ever attend to your needs because He does. Don't think your future is not secured & worthless. Yes, you might worth nothing before men, but you're worth more than everything to the creator of men which is all that matters. So, relax & live your life in Christ Jesus, and be humble before His throne of grace. You shall be celebrated by those who think you are worthless in Jesus name.
