My Palm Trees- Different Southwestern Species

A 12-foot palm.  These grow more than a foot a year.  Palm trees are a grass tree closely related to turf grass.

A date palm.  A matue female can produce 50-200 pounds of dates a year.  The dates get wrinkled and then are sweet.

A small and scraggly palm.  This is an orinimental palm.

Overall, I enjoy palm trees.  We own 17 on our land.
