steem price

I'll have to admit I'm one of those people that start to panic when the price of steem drops,  which it's done along with all other cryptocurrencies... include Gridcoin which I like to collect as well.

Since I've been a member of Steemit three months ago I've noticed it goes up and down in cycles,  and this has been backed up by postings from other people that have been here much, much longer than I have.

It's also not like I've sold my steem,  it's been directly pumped into my steempower so the only time it affects me is during the week waiting for a payout;   less money,  less steem from others during upvotes.   Something I can overlook.

I do find myself staring at the internal marketplace trying to will it to go up though,  just to let you know I do this on behalf of everybody on the site;   there's a chance my untapped powers might change the market place.
