By now the world is rejoicing over the birth of a newborn Prince and the latest addition to the British royal family. 

I share the same joy on this as I have always admired the royal family. Well, not the gossips and all, but the fact that it is one of the oldest monarch in the world. Believe it or not, I still harbor the hope of having tea with Queen Elizabeth someday!

I have been following the stories of the British Monarch ever since I was introduced to Princess Diana. I remembered how my aunts used to copy her famous hairstyle back in the 80s.

Princess (Or Lady) Diana is a fashion icon to most women in the 80s. She represented grace, poise and style for the British royal. She is also an inspiring person, having to work on various Children’s causes. Sadly, she passed away in Paris at a fairly young age too, leaving behind her two young sons whom she loved so dearly. I remembered reading about her death and the investigations leading to it from the television and newspapers, I was in the US at that time.

Had she been alive today, she would not only be a loving and nurturing grandmother, but the birth of her latest grandson, I am sure she will be overwhelmed with so much joy! Just as she would be on Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
