# Introduction
Hello everyone! ***[Anidel](https://steemit.com/introducemyself/@ankarlie/a-little-about-me-and-how-i-started-to-make-a-living-out-of-bitcoins)*** here with another useful tutorial. Today I would like to share with you how to play ***[Playstation Portable](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Portable)*** games on your***[ PC](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_computer)***. I will try to make the tutorial as simple as possible so that ***[newbies](https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=newbies)*** can also follow the instructions.

1. *Download required files*
2. *Install and setup programs and files*
3. *Test the installed programs*

# Requirements
1. **[PSP emulator](https://ppsspp.org/downloads.html)**
2. Game **[ROM image](http://50.7.92.186/happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/pspisos/Tekken_6_USA_PSP-iND.rar)**
3. **[Windows Operating System](https://www.britannica.com/technology/Windows-OS)**
4. **[Web browser](https://www.computerhope.com/jargon/c/chrome.htm)** with Internet connection
5. **[WinRAR](https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)** or **[7-Zip](http://www.7-zip.org/)**

# Procedure
## Step 1: Download all the necessary files
The first thing we would like to do is to ***download all the necessary files*** that we will use. These would be the **[Emulator](https://ppsspp.org/)** and the **[Game ROM image](https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/tekken-6-psp/)**. You can download the emulator **[here](https://download.loveroms.com/downloader/emu/ppsspp_win_1.2.2.zip?id=64091&token=1513407532-BvCG%2BHu0JVH2scxbhYGPSYx60HAH%2F3P9VvQYv9rVxlI%3D)** and the Game ROM image  **[here](http://50.7.92.186/happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/pspisos/Tekken_6_USA_PSP-iND.rar)**.

## Step 2: Set up and install the program and files

***After downloading the files needed we will group them together in one folder for easy access***. I usually like to put them in my ***desktop*** so that I can find them easily. You may put yours in whatever directory you wish so long as you can access them and remember them where. The Game [ROM ISO image](http://50.7.92.186/happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/pspisos/Tekken_6_USA_PSP-iND.rar) is compressed using **[winRAR](https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)**  or **[7- Zip](http://www.7-zip.org/)** if you don't have a program to extract this types of compressed files you may download one **[here](https://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-550.exe)** or **[here](http://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1604-x64.exe)** respectively.

Once we open the [compressed files](https://www.computerhope.com/jargon/c/compfile.htm) we move its contents to the ***"PPSSPP"*** folder we have created in the ***desktop***.

Once we have extracted the two folders we access the game folder ***"Tekken_6_USA_PSP-iND"*** this folder ***contains RAR files***. We need to ***extract the game [image ROM](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ROM_image) from these files by using [winRAR](https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm) or [7-zip](http://www.7-zip.org/)***. Since I have already installed 7-zip I will be using it.

Just extract the [image ROM](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ROM_image) from the [Rar file](https://www.rarlab.com/rar_file.htm) to our main folder ***"PPSSPP"*** folder located in desktop. The image file should be named ***"ind-tvi.iso"***

After properly extracting the [ROM image](http://50.7.92.186/happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/pspisos/Tekken_6_USA_PSP-iND.rar) of the game we  now proceed to run the [emulator](https://ppsspp.org/). The emulator is located in the **"ppsspp"** sub folder as shown above. ***To run the program just double click on the file shown below***.

## Step 3: Run and test the program
Once we run the [emulator](https://ppsspp.org/)  we will be greeted with a quick splash screen as shown below and be brought to the games selection page.

***Just follow the instruction as shown in the screen capture shown below to locate and run the game file***.

Once we have set the Game ROMS folders ***you may now see the games available in the games page of the emulator as shown above***. When you click on the ***image of the game it will automatically load as shown below***.

There is no need to map the keys for the controls as it has already been done for you. ***You may configure the keys yourself by going to the menu as shown below***.

If you are installing from the [apk file](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_application_package)make sure you enabled installation from ***"unknown sources"*** in you[ android device](https://www.techopedia.com/definition/25101/android-device). This is usually found in the **"settings"** menu in **"apps section"**. The same game [**ROM image file**](http://50.7.92.186/happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/pspisos/Tekken_6_USA_PSP-iND.rar) is to be used also here. Just transfer your [**Game ROM image file**](http://50.7.92.186/happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/pspisos/Tekken_6_USA_PSP-iND.rar) to your smartphone.
