This edited screenshot comic is dedicated to all of my Basuli and Tarzan-loving friends, fellow artists, fans, and brethren. So, sit back, relax, and soak in Basuli's and Tarzan's brand of strong brotherly love.
Ah, "Tarzan and The Poisoned River Parts 1 and 2", my most favorite two-part episode from Disney's The Legend of Tarzan and my most beloved BroTP of all time Basuli and Tarzan, we meet again. If there was another moment that stood out to me so much, it also had to be that moment when Chief Keewazi readied himself to do a quick battle with Ian McTeague with Tarzan trying to intervene and Basuli signaling to him to cease, as Chief Keewazi has it under control.
As you can tell, in my AU Headcanon involving Basuli and Tarzan as brothers and sons of Chief Keewazi, Basuli is the proud, strong, handsome, dashing, responsible yet impulsive older brother to Tarzan's rowdy, rough, wild, fierce, rampaging, yet loving younger brother. These epic Olympian brothers of the Waziri tribe as well as the African jungle function in a way that can make any other fraternal relationship pale in comparison to the one Basuli and Tarzan have to offer. Their strength in combat and animal prowess are absolutely legendary to the point where strangers of the outside world would tremble in fear should they be so brazen to mess with them.
When one looks beyond the fierceness and strength Basuli and Tarzan emit, they can be very cuddly, sweet, supportive, and kind to each other. Basuli would be able to be the firm older brother who will be very willing to defend and protect his beloved younger brother Tarzan from all forms of prejudice, unkindness, and peril. Meanwhile, Tarzan would be able to help Basuli to let loose, relax, have fun, and help him talk like different animals. Just toss in Mufasa, Simba, and Kaj in the mix, and they would definitely use every training session to build up their muscles, improve the quality of their roars, and wrestle the absolute heck out of each other.
