The random acts of kindness can be done for a variety of reasons. It could be a family member or friend who passes away, a baby being born, or a special occasion like the Super Bowl. There are plenty of reasons to give to someone who is suffering, homeless, or just needs someone to talk to. They could simply give money to an animal shelter to help them with bills. One random act of kindness that I have seen recently was from a boy. This boy saw a homeless person the day before and decided to stop by the person's location to see if he was ok. After talking with the person for a few minutes he went up and gave him $5. While he was doing so the other person noticed him and said that they would be right back at their spot later. The young man returned with two bags of food and two cans of soda for the homeless person. He did not look back and walked off quietly while the person thanked him for his kind act.

These are just two of the random acts of kindness that I have witnessed in my time as a volunteer. There are many others like these that I have given many hours of my time to work with. Some of the acts that you will hear about are amazing in their kindness. I have heard of people that would rather donate their time than pick up a used car and run a lemonade stand for those in need. They have such compassion and desire for others that they put their acts of kindness into action almost immediately.

This is what makes them truly remarkable. They have such a strong desire to help that they are willing to go the extra mile even when it may seem like they are only helping themselves at the beginning. They put their best intentions into each action they perform. If you have a part time job don't you think it is more valuable to take that extra step to help that person in need? Of course it is! Don't let anything deter you from helping out someone in need.

It is a known fact that when we are blessed with the opportunity to give our time and talents to help others we want to make sure that we truly are doing our best. Sometimes we get caught up in what we think that we can do and how much we wish we could accomplish. That is why it is important to have goals and plans that you can look forward to. Keeping your self-confidence up can also help keep your heart strong. When you have a strong heart and you use your talents to help others you have truly achieved true peace of mind.
