The Concert and Concept - The Tale of Lady Luck and the Fairies of Serendip consists of four stories. It starts with a Fairy Tale, the story told in Norwegian. The fairy tale follows a young woman who wishes to marry a prince, but she has to get help from the people of a neighboring country where they have no knowledge of such marriage. The fairy tells her story and narrates how she falls in love with the prince and realizes that she has to find a way to win his heart.

The second story follows the life of the fairy, Olaf. He is a tailor from Norway who gets involved in the wrong scheme. The story highlights how he metamorphoses into a frog. He thinks that it is better to be a frog than to die in an attempt to cross over the icy river Teide. Because of this, the fairy decides to help him cross, but as they are about to cross, Olaf gets so drunk that he falls into the river.

The third fairy tale follows a group of fairies who decided to play a game of fortune. They asked the goddess of luck for a glass slipper, but she refused them. But because she has powers of healing, the girls managed to win her the slipper. When it was time to return the slipper to the goddess, the girls had no choice but to dress up as other characters. And thus, the game of fortune began.

The next fairy tale follows a game called "Finn's Fables". Finn was going to bake a cake, but since he forgot to lock the door, a robber decided to try out the cake. As a result, the cake was stolen by the robber. With this ending, the other fairies came to believe in the power of luck. They developed the idea that if you give someone a piece of cake, then the next time they bake a good cake, you will bring them luck.

Finally, we have the most famous tale: "The Nutcracker". This musical chairs game became the most popular of its time. The Nutcracker tells the story of a poor man who, being very poor, decided to make some money by selling nuts. He went to the market, bought some nuts, put them in a wooden basket, and sat down to wait for his money to arrive. But instead of cashier taking money out of his pocket, the Nutcracker is told by the other men in the story to just give him luck.

Thus we have found an interesting relationship between music and fairy tales. There are many more interesting examples of such relationship that I will write about another time. Music and its ability to influence our moods, attitudes, and even decision-making, was discovered long ago and is just now starting to find its place in our society. So, music and its underlying concepts, such as "lucky sound" and "fairy tales," might indeed be the key to unlock the door to true happiness.
