BTC TA for 07/19/2019 (Rainbow chart and Mayer Multiple tools)

Boa tarde Steemians, tudo bem?

No post de hoje eu irei fazer uma outra análise técnica do preço do BTC PARA O MÉDIO E LONGO PRAZO, usando como base a ferramenta o famoso gráfico arco-íris do Bitcoin, bem como o índice do múltiplo de Mayer.

Para quem nao está familiarizado com essas dois índices, eles são formas de tentar... e eu repito... apenas tentar prever se o preço atual está acima, abaixo ou dentro do esperado para o ativo (no caso aqui o BTC).

Cabe aqui lembrar que esse post **NAO É UMA INDICACAO DE INVESTIMENTO. CABE AO LEITOR REALIZAR A SUA PESQUISA E ASSUMIR OS BONUS (E POSSÍVEIS ONUS) DE UMA TOMADA DE DECISAO.**

Dito isso vamos lá.


- Gráfico Arco-Íris:

O gráfico arco-iris é uma representação de uma escala logarítmica de preços do ativo BTC desde a sua criação. Ele tende a ter uma forte correlação entre a avaliação de preços reais e a sua representação no mercado.

Como se faz a leitura desse gráfico?

Bem... os técnicos dizem que toda vez que o preço se encontra nas cores azuis ou verdes do gráfico, isso quer dizer que o ativo está com um preço abaixo do que deveria ser. Se observarmos no gráfico a maioria esmagadora das vezes que o preço atingiu essa cor, houve uma tendencia de alta e um rali no médio e longo prazo. Assim sendo, se torna, em teoria, perigoso operar no mercado ao atingirmos a faixa laranja (onde começa a existir o FOMO).

A figura abaixo representa a mesma escala logarítmica, mas agora começando apenas desde 2017 (último ciclo de alta que tivemos).

Como podem observar, tanto no gráfico do histórico desde a criação, bem como no gráfico desde 2017, os preços estão atualmente na faixa azul, o que, em teoria dá margem para que o BTC tenha uma nova alta significativa de preços no médio e longo prazo.

O Múltiplo de Mayer é um índice que, assim como o gráfico arco-íris, pretende indicar ao investidor se o preço do ativo está sobre ou subvalorizado.

A definicao dele é a seguinte: 

O múltiplo de Mayer foi criado por Trace Mayer como uma forma de analisar o preço do Bitcoin em um contexto histórico.

NÃO diz se deve comprar, vender ou manter.

O Mayer Multiple é o múltiplo do preço atual do Bitcoin ao longo da média móvel de 200 dias.

Por que 2.4?

Simulações realizadas por Trace Mayer determinaram que, no passado, os melhores resultados a longo prazo foram alcançados acumulando Bitcoin sempre que o Múltiplo Mayer estivesse abaixo de 2.4.
Como as simulações foram baseadas em dados históricos, elas são puramente educacionais e não devem ser a base de qualquer decisão financeira.

Como também podem observar pela foto acima, o referido índice se encontra atualmente em 1.72, sendo que a média histórica desse índice é de 1.39.

Portanto de acordo com essas duas ferramentas, em teoria, estamos com um preço abaixo do esperado para o preço real do mercado, o que PODE sugerir que tenhamos uma grande alta de preços do BTC.

Good afternoon Steemians, okay?

In today's post I will make another technical analysis of the price of the BTC FOR THE MEDIUM AND LONG TERM, using as basis the tool the famous rainbow graph of Bitcoin, as well as the index of Mayer's multiple.

For those unfamiliar with these two indices, they are ways to try ... and I repeat ... just try to predict whether the current price is above, below or within the expected for the asset (in this case the BTC).

It should be remembered that this post ** IS NOT AN INDICATION OF INVESTMENT. THE READER SHOULD CARRY OUT THEIR RESEARCH AND ASSUME THE BONUS (AND POSSIBLE ONES) FROM A DECISION MAKING. **

That said, let's go.


- Rainbow Chart:

The rainbow chart is a representation of a logarithmic price scale of the BTC asset since its inception. It tends to have a strong correlation between the evaluation of real prices and their representation in the market.

How do you read this chart?

Well ... technicians say that every time the price is in the blue or green colors of the graph, that means that the asset is priced below what it should be. If we look at the most overwhelming graphic of the times the price reached this color, there was a bullish trend and a rally in the medium and long term. Therefore, it becomes, in theory, dangerous to operate in the market when we reach the orange band (where FOMO begins to exist).

The figure below represents the same logarithmic scale, but now starting only since 2017 (last high cycle we had).

As you can see, both in the history chart since the creation, as well as in the chart since 2017, prices are currently in the blue range, which in theory gives room for the BTC to have a significant new price increase in the medium and long term.

The Mayer Multiple is an index that, like the rainbow chart, is intended to tell the investor if the asset price is over or undervalued.

Its definition is as follows:

Mayer's multiple was created by Trace Mayer as a way of analyzing the price of Bitcoin in a historical context.

It does NOT say whether to buy, sell or maintain.

Mayer Multiple is the multiple of the current price of Bitcoin over the 200-day moving average.

Why 2.4?

Simulations performed by Trace Mayer have determined that in the past, the best long-term results were achieved by accumulating Bitcoin whenever the Mayer Multiple was below 2.4.
As the simulations were based on historical data, they are purely educational and should not be the basis of any financial decision.

As you can also see from the photo above, the index is currently at 1.72, and the historical average of this index is 1.39.

So according to these two tools, in theory, we have a below-expected price for the actual market price, which MAY suggest that we have a large BTC price increase.
