Time flies and now we had achieved 15.7<span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 15px; text-align: right; white-space: pre-wrap;\">% milestone completion on collecting 1001 stories.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 15px; text-align: right; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><br><\/span><\/div><h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 15px; text-align: right; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><u>What Is It About This Project?<\/u><\/span><\/h3><div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap; font-family: Calibri; text-align: right;\">After we started @archisteem, we found that there is no key driver activity that drives the community. After a brainstorm session with the team, we decided to kickstart this very project to make things more interesting for the community. This project is named as 1001 Places to Remember. Why 1001? Well, that was inspired by the travel guidebook named 1000 Places to See Before You Die. While the number 1001 was from the story of my childhood time, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.workman.com\/brands\/1000-places\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap; font-family: Calibri; text-align: right; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves from the 1001 Nights<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap; font-family: Calibri; text-align: right;\">. It is a combination of these two masterpieces to make it a unique product for Archisteem.<\/span><br><\/div><div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><font face=\"Calibri\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><br><\/span><\/font><\/div><span style=\"text-align: right;\"><font face=\"Calibri\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this project, we intend to collect 1001 different stories that consist of memories of the person, a place and an event that happened. The author can freely express how he or she feels about a place that could be linked to a story that they experienced. Such memories are invaluable as it gives the sense of belonging and familiarity to the people for the place. I believe that if the authors are willing to share such memories, the place will get even more interesting and meaningful as more people could perceive the place with an extra perspective.<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">What we have now is photographs with images of buildings and people, but we do not have stories that backed the photography, especially stories that are personal and unique! In travel guides, we always read the typical place of interest description that is boring and typical. There is no serendipity in such a setting. To insert the element of surprise, this could be a new way to do a traveling guide, a local way to explore a place by learning about their story of lives. Personally, I think this is much more interesting than going to the typical, known landmark and place of interest, taking photos and have no idea what\u2019s the story behind all the buildings.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">After discussing with the team, we decided to make the project more interesting by adding some reward to it. We will be doing this contest weekly and reward the best contributors some SBD rewards and perks. This is to encourage more people to join the fun and gain something as well at the same time. Of course, the project will be a continuous one until we collect 1001 stories.<\/div><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/div><div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 15px; text-align: right; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><br><\/span><\/div><div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 15px; text-align: right; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><br><\/span><\/div><h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 15px; text-align: right; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><u>What Do We Expect For The Publication?<\/u><\/span><\/h3><div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><font face=\"Calibri\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;\">For the final product, we expect to produce a website that compiles all the submitted works and also an e-publication that contains all the summarized works. After this two products, we aim to make the publication into a limited edition publication to be sold to the community and also the public as an encyclopedia of people + place + memory. <\/span><\/font><\/div><div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><font face=\"Calibri\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><br><\/span><\/font><\/div><div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><font face=\"Calibri\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;\">The main impact that we hope to create is through this project, people regardless of age, nationality and ethnic can experience different memories or stories from people from many places. Rather than reading the typical travel guidebook, which we found is kinda commercial and very fact-driven, our proposition is to revamp such format and make it into more like a storybook. Imagine people from around the world, holding this encyclopedia and enjoy the stories within. This will be our greatest satisfaction!<\/span><\/font><\/div><h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>When Can We Expect The Completion?<\/u><\/h4><div style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are looking at a
