DMT- The E-Cig Experience

<html>
<p>After exploring the use and effects of psychedelics (DMT) for nearly 2 years, I have finally progressed from the traditional way of ingesting these substances to the more "technologically-advanced" way.</p>
<p>I was lucky to not have started my journey with the Ayahuasca method since it makes you purge your guts out. Instead, I started off the pharmahuasca way. You can read about my experiences below in a 3-part article:</p>

Since then, I have researched other ways of taking DMT without requiring to set aside a full 8-hour day for the trip. Smoking DMT can be very effective and requires only less than 15 minutes for a full blown experience. Since I'm asthmatic, that makes smoking through pipes or bongs out of the question. Through the help of my friend @<a href="https://steemit.com/@killuminatic"><strong>killuminatic,</strong></a> I was introduced to E-cig. After doing some extensive research, I immediately started to work on this method.</p>
<p>It wasn't long before I managed to create my first DMT e-juice. The result was nothing but spectacular. Here's a short journal I made on that day:</p>
<p>"Tested a few drops blasting at 50w. Took a 4s pull straight to lung and held breath for 10s. Effects kicked in within less than a minute. Vapor was harsh on the tongue but not in the lungs. Perhaps the mint has somehow helped a little. Reminder to self to try to open the air way wider in the future to minimize contact."</p>
<p>I continued to refine the juice and had made significant progress with a better E-cig mod and tank. Here's an experimental trip report &nbsp;from my recent experience:<br>

<p>Using a dual coil tank, I flavored one of the coils with strawberry mint e-juice while the other with DMT. I set the wattage to 90w, fired it up and inhaled the vapor slowly into my lungs. While holding my breath, my consciousness started to distort a little. The space around me started to "breathe". The familiar static and body buzz started to build up. It was pretty mild and nothing progressed after that.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I lowered the wattage to 30w and took another 5 seconds hit. The experience intensified and I can see kaleidoscope effects in everything. My hearing started to sound funny and none of the worldly sounds make sense anymore. After 5 minutes, I took another hit of the vape. This time, things were different.</p>
<h1>Serpents from Heaven</h1>
<p>While holding my breath, a pressure can be felt in the middle of my chest- around the heart chakra. As I exhaled and closed my eyes, what I experienced can be described as seeing beautiful lights spiraling down like serpents from above and coiling around the center of my chest. I felt my chest tightening up and the urge to gasp for air. I reminded myself to surrender to the experience and the uneasiness gradually melted away. After a while, I felt as if my lungs have been overhauled. I have never breathed so naturally for a long time. I gave thanks and jumped out of bed to write this article.</p>
<p>Here I list the pros and cons of the e-cig method. Though they may be missing a number of points, those listed are the main ones that I can think of.</p>
<h2>Pros:</h2>
<p>- Discreet and safe. Can virtually hyperspace anytime, anywhere. <br>
- Experience lasts for less than 15 minutes on average. You'll be back and fully sober from toilet break.<br>
- Easy to control how "far" into hyperspace you want to go. Longer draw, longer hold, more puffs, etc.<br>
- Customize-able taste so it does not smell like nasty plastic or moth balls.<br>
- Less pre-flight syndrome. On a more concentrated e-juice, you will be in hyperspace within a few seconds.<br>
- Extremely easy to administer. Just drip, set, and fire. <br>
- No mess to clean up.<br>
- No nausea or purging.<br>
- No risk of "overdosing"<br>
- Less harshness on throat and lungs.<br>
- Super easy to microdose without any vapor.</p>
<h2>Cons:</h2>
<p>- Cost of a good e-cig and tank is high. <br>
- Cost of parts if regular use or keeping separate tanks for different juices.<br>
- Learning curve of using proper e-cig settings are different from one to another.<br>
- Difficult to measure e-juice concentration without proper equipment.</p>
<h1>Conclusion</h1>
<p>As technology advances, so are the ways of how psychedelics are taken. Some may argue that certain methods are better than the other. It really depends on the individual in their journey of learning and experience.&nbsp;There are no wrong choices in life, only the willingness to learn from the choices we make.</p>
<p>This article is not intended to encourage anyone to start doing psychedelics. Whatever choices you make, just remember to be safe.&nbsp;</p>

Wow, amazing writeup! I never got around to trying using an e-Cig for DMT, but had heard of it working, and it sure seems more reliable than the ridiculous improvised rigs we used in the past.

I guess this is another thing to add to my "to attempt" list in the future :)

This is really cool, I've always heard about this but have never gotten around to trying it yet. I am usually intimidated by smoking DMT, so this is of interest to me. Do you think it would be worthwhile to additionally dissolve Syrian Rue MAOIs to the e-juice to act as a B. Caapi alternative? If it's possible, that would provide an even chiller, changa-like experience.
