The Girl Who Does Not Eat Her Vegetables. (Homeschool & Actifit)

Saturday! Yay!

I have been slacking with my actifit steps recently... when I used to go out for a daily jog, these days it became 3-4x a weekn only.

Today, kids woke up super late. They had a <a href = "https://steemit.com/actifit/@arrliinn/actifit-arrliinn-20181109t195449803z"> blast at the park yesterday</a> so it was not a surprise when they slept few hours more this morning. And mommy did too! 😆😅

<h3>Homeschool</h3>

We also did catch up with our homeschool lessons.

Above is Little Miss' drawing. I love how she relates stories to her works and this one is about a girl who does not eat her veggies...

*You see, the girl in the middle was not really happy as it shows here. She was a sad girl...*

**Alone**.

"Why?" I asked.

*Because she was not eating her vegetables so her family left her on her own.*

"That's sad," I commented.

Later on, she erased the sad face on the girl and added the other two beside her.

*See, she is happy now. The girl started eating her vegetables so her family came back too her. They will now be together FOREVER.*

"Aww, that's sweet!"

Kuya, on the other hand is also  on track with his lessons and assignments. We have signed up with our Homeschool provider's *Blended* Program. Here, is lessons are mostly delivered online. Even quizzes are ready after each lessons. I do not have to make them and manually record the scores anymore.

This approach is a big help for me, being mostly preoccupied with work and everything else. Likewise, my son loves the *techy* approach too. He is also learning to manage his time to meet deadlines as he see on the course timeline.

**Of course, as parents, we are still his main educators.**

The new approach just gives a slight breather for me in terms of lessons preparation and records keeping..

<h3>Other Activities</h3>

I finally got a chance to *escape* the screaming and jumping around the house in the evenjng when I went for a quick grocery run. Here's where I got most of my steps for the day.

Tomorrow is Sunday and the start of another work week for us. It's gonna be hectic once more, I'm sure. Hope to get my #automaticwin tomorrow morning though. It makes me feel tougher to face the day. 😉
