Off to sleep with a weary body but with a happy heart...

It was a long day today which started with an unplanned trip to Dubai Miracle Garden.

<p>Dubai Miracle Garden is a yearly exhibition of colorful, fresh flowers decorating an entire park! It has been happening since 2013 but it was our first time to visit today.</p>

<p>Our kids have grown bigger that it is at least easier to move around these days. No more diaper bags! Hoooraayyy!</p>

<p>We were also able to meet up a fellow steemian, the lovely @theree2389. </p>

For those who do not know, Theree and three other families  lost their homes in the Philippines when they were burned down earlier this year. </p>
<p>The steemit community was quick to respond- even the UAE steemians came together help by donating anyway they can. @kennyroy leading the initiative, we were able to collect cash and a lot of essentials like used/new clothing, socks and slippers for the fire victims. Thank you all for your contribution! </p>

<p>While we were waiting for Theree, we were contemplating on going to the <a href = "http://www.globalvillage.ae/en/">Global Village</a> next so we can maximize our trip. However, since this would entail <em>more</em> walking, we decided against it.</p>

<p>Instead, we went to the <a href = "http://www.childrencity.dm.gov.ae/wps/portal/childrencity">Children's City</a> at the Deira Creek Park.</p>

<p>The kids enjoyed it so much that they want to go back tomorrow. If not, next week. LOL</p>

<p>I promised the kids we will, some time soon. We really were pressed on time earlier. </p>

<p>I will share more about our trip today soon. For now, it's time to sleep. Good night from Abu Dhabi!</p>
