**🔵An onion farmer in our village. The total cost of cultivating onion seeds in one bigha of land is 50/60 thousand rupees. On an average, three to four manas of seeds are obtained from this land. Onion seeds are sold at Rs 80,000 to Rs 100,000 per ounce. There is no need to cultivate Edana.The farmer is very happy to have such a crop on his land. And getting a fair price for onions.**

Utpal Chandra Das has been shopping in this market for over a year. He said about 15 types of sweets are made here. The artisans make sweets in a clay oven at the back of each sweet shop. The price varies from Rs 150 to Rs 450 per kg.**

For the last few years, Kamal Hossain Hat of Mirpur upazila of Kushtia has been doing business on lease through a syndicate.**
**Breaking the all-time record in the current 1428 (Bangla), Amirul Islam of Bamundi took a lease for 1 year at 2 crore 8 lakh taka including VAT at 3 crore 17 lakh 60 thousand taka.**
