<p>I cut in, “We have only been here a few weeks in all, but I think we should return home. I miss my girls. I also want to see if I can find my father.”</p>

<p>Cherine’s light-hearted manner immediately disappeared, her fear for me returning. “He won’t be the same as this one Robert.”</p>

<p>“I know. Mine will still be the shit he was. Cherine, I do not want him dying alone. We do not have to be close.”</p>

<p>“You will let him die!!”</p>

<p>“I will not have him in our World.”</p>

<p>Suddenly she seemed to change tack. “That is wrong Robert!”</p>

<p>“Forget him, I have something more important to ask you. I want our first mission to be your father. We cannot do as we did with this Rose. Would it make you happy if we bring him back the same way as with Annabelle? Instead of a father you would then have a son.”</p>

<p>“No Robert, he cannot join our circle.”</p>

<p>“Now who is wrong love?”</p>

<p>A naughty look came into her eyes. “Why don’t we get our fathers to start their own circle.” She got the giggles.</p>

<p>“I am not that cruel Cherine, your father would have no chance with mine. He would make his life miserable.”</p>

<p>By mutual consent, without another word being spoken, we decided to leave both fathers alone for the time being.</p>

<p>“Call Tasso soon as we get back, we have to decide what to do about the parents of Kleanthi. If we bring them back Cherine, there will be huge complications. Klo belongs to their circle now. Her parents will want her back.”</p>

<p>“I didn’t think of that! But if we don’t bring them back for that reason, then how will Klo feel and how will her feelings affect their circle?”</p>

<p>“Now you see my dilemma.”</p>

<p>Tasso brought the whole family when he heard what we are to discuss. Kleanthi was besides herself with joy. The idiot had told her and it meant I had to hurt her by forcing the decision on her instead of the adults. I did my best to explain it in simple terms so that she would understand.</p>

<p>“Klo mou, within weeks of coming back as babies, your parents will make themselves into adults, for that is how they see themselves. They will want you back, to take you away from your circle. They might even get upset about your loving each other. I am talking about the sex. Will you face those problems so as to have them back? You could do as Em-e does; she stays with her parents and visits us.”</p>

<p>“But then I will not be able to have a baby until I grow up, they would not let me.”</p>

<p>I left it to Tasso and his wife and family to discuss amongst themselves in the garden. They came back in and I sensed the fear in them.</p>

<p>“We have all decided that if you can bring them back for Klo, then you must do so.”</p>

<p>“We already know more or less when the accident happened. We must jump to Thessaloniki and Klo must show us exactly where the accident happened.”</p>

<p>Klo did so and let the protector see in her mind her parents. We all jumped back home. We went to the garden while Dommi and Aganthi sat in the bedroom waiting. When they walked out with two babies in their arms it was wonderful to feel the joy in Kleanthi. She came and hugged me.</p>

<p>“I’m sorry Roberto for being so silly when you saved me. I really, really love you.”</p>

<p>She decided about that love of hers within three days. She jumped over to us on her own and asked to see me alone.</p>

<p>“I wanted to have a baby from Gianni. He is the sweetest one and we are also very good friends. I have now changed my mind. Roberto, I want to have your baby.”</p>

<p>The girls had all been listening and we could hear them through the door. They found my reaction  funny. Luckily Klo did not realise why they were laughing. Distracted as I had been for a few moments, I suddenly realised she had slipped her dress off and was standing in front of me in the nude.</p>

<p>“Am I too ugly for you Roberto?”</p>

<p>“You are beautiful. Kleanthi mou, this is wrong, you belong to your own circle.”</p>

<p>“They all love you and they told me they will not mind. They would be very proud to have your child in our circle. Even Agapi wanted to come with.”</p>

<i><p>*Dommi! How do I get out of this without hurting her or insulting the family?*</p>

<p>*I don’t think you can Robert. I think this is only the beginning. Other Cherinians will also want to have your child.*</p>

<p>*I refuse to have a child who is not in my circle.*</p>

<p>*Tell them. It will not help, that will make them even happier I think.*</p>

<p>*Shit! Will you girls please stop laughing and help me. What starts here could end up becoming a major problem. Think of something fast. Come on Meli, how would you write this as a story?*</p>

<p>*I would make him give her the baby, only she would surprise him by having triplets.*</p>

<p>*I get the message, none of you are willing to help me.*</p>

<p>*I think you are wrong Robert. If you do this, you should let the children become part of their circle.*</p></i>

<p>“What is wrong Roberto? You want me to leave?”</p>

<p>“I do not. I just need some time to think.”</p>

<p>“I knew you would not want me.” Slowly the teardrops fell from her eyes burning their way into my heart.</p>

<p>“Don’t do this to me Klo, you know how it hurts me. This is unfair. I only asked for a little time to think.”</p>

<p>She looked at me proudly. “While I am here in the nude? I am not a boutana Robert.”</p>

<p>“How dare you say that to me!! You come here to offer to have my baby and offer me your gorgeous body because you love me and know that I love you, you can feel it in yourself, and then you dare to accuse me of thinking of you as a boutana!!”</p>

<p><i>*Robert, make love to her damn it! She is hurting all of us.*</i> And Cherine dares to talk about not understanding me!</p>

<p>“Kleanthi, before you came here you discussed this with your family? Then why are you upset that I need time to discuss it with mine. Do you think I would do anything that might hurt them?”</p>

<p>“I’m sorry, I forgot.” She started putting her dress on again. I took hold of her hands and stopped her.</p>

<p>“They want you to have my child. We are only arguing about the child itself. I do not want to have a child who is not part of my circle. They insist you must have the child in your circle.”</p>

<p>“If you want to keep my baby in your circle I will be happy for my baby Roberto.”</p>

<p><i>*Told you!*  *Shut up.*</i></p>

<p>“How long can you stay?”</p>

<p>“You want me to stay? As long as you want Roberto.”</p>

<p>“I can’t just grab you, make love to give you the baby and send you home. I swore no child of mine would be born without love. We need time to ourselves, to make love because we love each other also. Can you give me that time?”</p>

<p>“Yes.” Now she was crying, but her tears were of happiness so I did not mind them. I took her dress and slipped it on for her, over her head.</p><br>
