How is it I can love you?
Is it that you hold, 
that you are,
a part of me?

How else could I love you
if all was nothing less
than strange, 
of the unknown?

But what of that part,
the me that is you,
is it purer than I
or so vile it fascinates?

I know nothing
but that I love,
nothing,
but that I too,
in part,
am of the you 
that is me
