I used to publish my original poem long ago and I published some of my English poems at that time.
But I don't think I ever published any of my Bengali poems.
So here I'm showing one of my Bengali poems with the English translation so that everyone can understand what I wished to express through the poem.
I hope you (the readers) will like this poem so much.

<center>**"বাল্যকাল"**</center> | <center>**"Childhood"**</center>

<center>তখন হয়তো ছিলাম বারোতে</center> | <center>Maybe I was at twelve then</center>
<center>যেতাম এদিক সেদিক বেড়াতে,</center> | <center>I would go back and forth,</center>
<center>মন চাইতো শুধুই উড়তে</center> | <center>The mind just wanted to fly</center>
<center>দিন যাইতো খেলতে আর খেলতে।</center> | <center>Days went through sports.</center>

<center>দিনগুলি ছিল বহুরঙা</center> | <center>The days were multicolored</center>
<center>দেখতাম চেয়ে ওপাড়ের ডাঙা,</center> | <center>Used to see the land of other side,</center>
<center>পড়ার ভয়েতে হাত ভাঙা</center> | <center>Broken hands for fear of reading</center>
<center>সময় পেরোলেই ভিষণ চাঙা।</center> | <center>Became strong after passing the time.</center>

<center>থাকতো না কভু মন পড়ায়</center> | <center>I would never have the mind in study</center>
<center>উড়তো এ পাড়ায় আর ও পাড়ায়,</center> | <center>Used to fly in this & that neighborhood,</center>
<center>খুজতাম নিজেকে পাখির ডানায়</center> | <center>I searched myself on the wings of a bird</center>
<center>চাইতাম না যেতে কভু বিছানায়।</center> | <center>Never wanted to go to bed.</center>

<center>বিকেল পাড় করতাম ব্যাট আর বলে</center> | <center>Spent the afternoon through cricket</center>
<center>সকালে স্কুলে যেতাম হেলে দুলে,</center> | <center>Used to go to school swinging,</center>
<center>বেঞ্চে বসে দেখতাম আর ভাবতাম</center> | <center>Watched & thought sitting on the bench</center>
<center>পাশের মেয়েটা যদি একটু কথা বলে।</center> | <center>If the girl next bench talks a little.</center>

<center>চালাক অথবা বোকা যা ই হোক </center> | <center>Be it clever or foolish</center>
<center>জানি ছিলাম আমি একটু লাজুক,</center> | <center>I knew I was a little shy,</center>
<center>থাকতাম না মেয়েদের কাছাকাছি</center> | <center>I did not live near the girls</center>
<center>যতোই স্নো পাউডার মেখে সাজুক।</center> | <center>Applied as much makeup as they liked.</center>

<center>অনেক কিছুই চাইতাম না বুঝতে</center> | <center>Didn't want to understand much</center>
<center>ব্যস্ত থাকতাম নতুন জিনিশ খুজতে,</center> | <center>Was busy looking for new things,</center>
<center>হয়তো মায়ের আচল খুজে ভাবতাম</center> | <center>Maybe I was looking for my mother's cloth belt</center>
<center>পারতাম যদি ছোট্ট মুখখানি মুছতে!</center> | <center>Thinking If I could wipe the small face!</center>

<center>ছোট ছিলাম বলে রাগ হতো খুব</center> | <center>Was very angry because I was young</center>
<center>ভাবতাম বড় যে হব কবে,</center> | <center>Thought when I will be big enough,</center>
<center>হেসে হেসে তখন বলতো সবাই</center> | <center>Everyone used to laugh and say</center>
<center>হাই স্কুলে নাকি উঠেছি সবে।</center> | <center>I just got up in high school.</center>

<center>নিজেকে এখন বড়-ই মনে হয়</center> | <center>Became a man right now</center>
<center>ছোট্ট শরীরটাও উঠেছে বেড়ে,</center> | <center>The small body has growing,</center>
<center>এখন সব উল্টে গেছে; কারণ</center> | <center>Now everything is upside down; cause</center>
<center>চাইছি এখন সেই দিনগুলি ফিরে।</center> | <center>Now I want to go back to those days.</center>

It's a poem of 32 lines that I wrote at 13.01.2016.
I used to write lots of poems at that time and this is one among the lot.
I will try to share more of my poems soon that I wrote long before when it was the golden time of my writing poems.
