My solution for "dapps" would be: *Find a better business model.* Relying primarily on author rewards or capital appreciation is a very bad business model. People who are creating "dapps" as businesses need to understand how to generate actual revenue first. Hoping for post rewards to remain consistent and relying on them for operating costs is foolish.

Yup, **move to a different chain or fork the existing one**. We were supposed to be out of bleeding beta but the rules of the game keep changing, and for reasons that apparently only make sense in narrative form, because if you run some old data through the new rules, non of the proposed incentives truly jump out at you. I'dd definitely power down to redfish level and buy UTOPIAN coins if @utopian-io was to fork itself away from STEEM and would do so without the (current) EIP.
