The single most anxiety-inducing sight of our times: the '...is typing' bubble. The palpable agony of waiting for a message you're not sure is going to make or break your day. The excruciating minutes after s/he drops 'we need to talk', spent staring into its taunting, calmly inhale-and-exhaling infinite ellipsis, wondering in an an all-too-real way what the immediate future holds.
