 Her touch gave life His touch took it away She spread happiness to the spaces her aura covered While are the places he tread on filled with the ambience With utter melancholy She danced to living while he celebrated to dying Her songs, her songs were the air to our lungs and beats, And The beats of our heart, while his His songs were soldiers who died fighting the war, a mother who lost her child, the guy who gave up his life or the girl who waskilled in the honor of killing. (She was) life and (he was) death They were complete opposite and yet, life couldn’t do without death as death couldn’t do without life. She was the LIGHT to his DARKNESS The yin to the yang The white to the back The object to its shadow The her to him. He followed her everywhere she went ASTOUNED by the beauty of life She was a MIRACLE The great Chicago fire who’s flames with the lives of others and Death and DEATH couldn't help but fall in love with her He longed her He wanted her light to fade his darkness Her bliss to doff his desolation He wanted to be like her. HAPPY loved by all. Warm and not cold A friend not a foe And when finally life noticed him and came to his arms When finally life returned him his love back and embraced his being… HER LIGHT….FADED, her life ESCAPED. HER WINGS stopped flapping and happiness…. Drowned. Death watched her …. Stupefied. He watched her surrender and loose her essence He tried; he tried to save her light, He tried to make her alive…. helplessly as she turned to a ghost of who she was While death wanted her to be like life, Life became one of him. Therewith everything seemed fallen and death’s purpose for the moment shattered.
