One of the highlights in the Yogyakarta Palace is loyalty to tradition, including in the form of buildings and objects in it. The building and the entire property in the palace was retained its authenticity, completely unaffected by the progress of the times.

 It is the authenticity that invites charm, making the Yogya Palace simple. Progress can not be denied, but the purity of classical flavor does not have to be annihilated. 

The persistence, among others, I see from the form of buildings and doors to the Palace. And the property is an old jar and moss in the palace. 

Door painted green door looks contrast with the surrounding white wall. The old wand should have a long historical value, perhaps including a silent witness to the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.[]

#  Sudut Kuno di Keraton Yogya

Salah satu yang menarik di Keraton Yogyakarta ada kesetiaan pada tradisi, termasuk dalam bentuk bangunan dan benda yang ada di dalamnya. Gedung dan seluruh properti di dalam Keraton masih diperhatahankan keasliannya, sama sekali tidak terpengaruh dengan kemajuan zaman.

Justru keaslian itulah yang mengundang pesona, membuat Keraton Yogya tetap bersahaja. Kemajuan memang bukan untuk ditolak, tetapi kemurnian cita rasa klasik pun bukan untuk dimusnahkan. 

Keteguhan itulah antara lain saya lihat dari bentuk bangunan dan pintu menuju Keraton. Dan properti berupa sebuah guci yang sudah berlumut dimakan usia di dalam Keraton. 

Kusen pintu dicat hijau terlihat kontras dengan dinding putih di sekitarnya. Guci tua itu pasti punya nilai sejarah yang panjang, barangkali termasuk saksi bisu kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia.[]
