The existence of cryptocurrencies has so far amounted to thousands slowly but surely will change the world view of money. Rejection of cryptocurrencies in various countries, will not make him die when his superiority in transactions cannot be replaced with fiat currency. When we from the Indonesia Blockchain Technology Institute arrived at the venue, one of the founders of BTC China, Bobby Lee, was presenting about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. He explained the history of bitcoin in a nutshell and the future of cryptocurrencies amid the pros and cons in various countries of the world.
Unfortunately, we lost important parts of Bobby Lee's presentation due to coordination issues between security officers at the JCC with the 2018 South East Asia Summit Blockchain event organizer. For information, the activity took place in the middle of a technology exhibition so visitors must buy an entrance ticket. About 20 minutes was wasted just to wait for confirmation from the organizer.

### Information = money
Bobby Lee who is also a member of the Bitcoin Foundation Board explained that information is now increasingly valuable for guidance in making decisions in various fields. Information is money, said Bobby Lee. But it will be money when information has more value, is exclusive, and is known to the public about its value.
Lee also explained easily about bitcoin that anyone can have as long as there is an internet network. But because the value is getting higher and the number is decreasing, getting bitcoin is now getting harder. In the future, Bitcoin prices will be much higher than now due to high demand while reserves are far reduced.
After the presentation, Lee appeared in a panel discussion with several speakers guided by Matt Starkey (@starkerz) from @oracle-d. The panel discussion raised the issue of the future of blockchain technology, blockchain-based startup companies, and cryptocurrencies. The discussion was warm and constructive. Unfortunately, there is no opportunity for participants to ask questions and that applies to all sessions and all presenters.
The @oracle-d team consisting of @starkerz and Dylan Leighton (@anarcotech) appeared in several sessions. When appearing together, they explained the application of blockchain technology in various fields, not only to startup companies and cryptocurrencies. One obvious example is the Andre Gray Football Academy (@agfacademy) football player program.
### Private key = private bank
The presentation of the founder of Evercoin, Miko Matsumura, was also interesting, apart from Matsumura's skill in delivering material in a structured and systematic manner. He among other things touched on the importance of everyone having a private key on the blockchain.
"It's important to have a house and own a car. But without a key, both of your assets will be in vain. That's how in the blockchain world, you have to have a private key to save assets," Matsumura said philosophically. Added, by having asset crypto and private key, we are like having a bank.
In the next panel discussion, the founder and CEO of Vexanium, Danny Baskara, said that users were not really necessary whether the technology was decentralized or not. "The first priority is whether the technology is safe and easy to use," says one of the two speakers from Indonesia.
Another Indonesian speaker was @mariska.lubis from the Indonesia Blockchain Technology Institute who reminded the government and business world to deepen the technology as part of future planning. "This technology cannot be rejected. When all countries and foreign companies have used it, we are far behind if we don't learn it now," says @mariska.lubis, Steemian who is also part of @oracle-d.
Meanwhile, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Cobinhood, Daniel Chang, said that unwittingly various systems of online transportation services such as Uber and Grab have led to decentralization when viewed from the driver's perspective. There is no single owner who has many vehicles. Where the biggest profits go into the pockets of the company. "Whereas with an online system, most of the revenue goes to vehicle owners," says Daniel Chang.[]

# Cryptocurrency Mengubah Orientasi Tentang Uang: South East Asian Summit Blockchain 2018
Keberadaan mata uang kripto yang sejauh ini sudah berjumlah ribuan secara perlahan tapi pasti akan mengubah pandangan masyarakat dunia tentang uang. Penolakan mata uang kripto di berbagai negara, tidak akan membuatnya mati ketika keunggulannya dalam bertransaksi tidak bisa digantikan dengan mata uang fiat. Daripada memusuhi mata uang kripto, pemerintah di sejumlah negara disarankan untuk mempelajari keberadaannya.
Mata uang kripto tidak akan menggerus kekuatan mata uang fiat yang digunakan selama ini. Namun, ada beberapa kemudahan dan kenyamanan dalam bertransaksi—selain beberapa jenis mata uang kripto semakin bernilai ekonomis—akan membuat keberadaannya semakin diminati masyarakat di berbagai negara.

Demikian pandangan sejumlah narasumber yang hadir dalam South East Asia Summit Blockchain 2018 yang berlangsung di Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Minggu 4 November 2018. Beberapa narasumber dari berbagai negara, berbicara tentang penerapan teknologi blockchain di berbagai bidang. Namun, ada juga yang menyinggung tentang mata uang kripto sebagai salah satu bagian terkecil dari kecanggihan teknonolgi blockchain.
Ketika kami dari Indonesia Blockchain Technology Institute tiba di tempat acara, salah satu pendiri BTC China, Bobby Lee, sedang memaparkan tentang teknologi blockchain dan mata uang kripto. Dia menjelaskan sejarahnya bitcoin secara singkat dan masa depan mata uang kripto di tengah pro dan kontra di berbagai negara dunia.
Sayang sekali, kami kehilangan bagian-bagian penting dari presentasi Bobby Lee karena masalah kordinasi antara petugas pengamanan di JCC dengan event organizer South East Asia Summit Blockchain 2018. Sebagai informasi, kegiatan tersebut berlangsung di tengah pameran teknologi sehingga pengungjung harus membeli tiket masuk. Sekitar 20 menit terbuang percuma hanya untuk menunggu konfirmasi dari penyelenggara.

Bobby Lee yang juga anggota Board Bitcoin Foundation menjelaskan informasi kini semakin bernilai tinggi untuk panduan mengambil keputusan dalam berbagai bidang. Informasi adalah uang, kata Bobby Lee. Namun ia akan menjadi uang ketika informasi memiliki nilai lebih, eksklusif, dan diketahui publik tentang nilainya.
Lee juga menjelaskan secara mudah tentang bitcoin yang bisa dimiliki siapa saja sejauh ada jaringan internet. Namun karena nilainya yang semakin tinggi dan jumlah yang kian berkurang, memperoleh bitcoin sekarang semakin susah. Di masa mendatang, harga bitcoin akan jauh lebih tinggi dari sekarang karena permintaan tinggi sementara cadangan jauh berkurang.
Setelah presentasi, Lee tampil dalam diskusi panel bersama beberapa narasumber yang dipandu Matt Starkey (@starkerz) dari @oracle-d. Diskusi panel tersebut mengangkat masalah masa depan teknologi blockchain, perusahaan startup berbasis blockchain, dan mata uang kripto. Diskusi berlangsung hangat dan kontruktif. Sayangnya tidak ada kesempatan bagi peserta untuk bertanya dan itu berlaku untuk semua sesi dan semua pemateri.

### Private key = private bank
Presentasi pendiri Evercoin, Miko Matsumura, juga tidak kalah menarik, selain karena kecakapan Matsumura dalam menyampaikan materi secara terstruktur dan sistematis. Dia antara lain menyinggung pentingnya setiap orang memiliki kunci pribadi dalam blockchain. “Memang penting memiliki rumah dan memiliki mobil. Tapi tanpa kunci, kedua aset Anda itu akan sia-sia. Begitulah dalam dunia blockchain, Anda harus memiliki kunci pribadi agar bisa menyimpan aset,” kata Matsumura secara filosofis. Ditambahkan, dengan memiliki kripto aset dan kunci pribadi, kita sama seperti memiliki sebuah bank.
Dalam diskusi panel berikutnya, pendiri dan CEO Vexanium, Danny Baskara, menyebutkan pengguna sebenarnya tidak terlalu perlu apakah teknologi itu bersifat desentralisasi atau bukan. “Prioritas pertama adalah apakah teknologi tersebut cukup aman dan mudah digunakan,” ungkap satu dari dua pemateri asal Indonesia tersebut.
Pemateri asal Indonesia lainnya adalah @mariska.lubis dari Indonesia Blockchain Technology Institute yang mengingatkan pemerintah dan dunia usaha memperdalam teknologi tersebut sebagai bagian dari perencanaan masa depan. “Teknologi ini tidak bisa ditolak. Ketika semua negara dan dan perusahaan asing sudah menggunakannya, kita sudah jauh tertinggal kalau tidak mempelajarinya sejak sekarang,” ujar @mariska.lubis, Steemian yang juga bagian dari @oracle-d.
Sementara itu, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) dari Cobinhood, Daniel Chang, mengatakan tanpa disadari berbagai sistem jasa transportasi online seperti Uber dan Grab sudah mengarah kepada desentralisasi kalau dilihat dari sudut sopir. Tidak ada pemilik tunggal yang memiliki banyak kendaraan. Di mana keuntungan terbesar masuk ke kantong perusahaan. “Sedangkan dengan sistem online, sebagian besar pemasukan justru masuk kepada pemilik kendaraan,” kata Daniel Chang.[]
