Because I believe in the general principle of helping others to help yourself, which I learned to my bones in 12 Step programs over the last 35 years, I have taken back up the cause of SteemTrail. Many of the people who follow me may remember my work there in 2017.

It has changed in the 18 months or so since I was active there, but the same general principle can be extracted from the current incarnation. So I now curate three "Trails" in an attempt to help others by showcasing their work. And yes, I hope that this will help me too, in several ways. 

**Fiction Trail -**
Here my main goal is to find people who write well, have good stories to tell, and who need more exposure. A perfect example is @internutter, who puts out hundreds of tight, beautiful, short pieces every month. To promote these authors, I plan to put out two posts a week, probably Monday and Thursday, so that I won't have to overlook someone because it's already past the payout window. 

**Paleo Trail -**
I took on Paleo trail to promote healthy eating authors. In that I try very hard not to use my own personal definition of healthy eating, but do apply a strict preference for unprocessed, low sugar, low grain, traditional foods. I have more strict standards for myself, but I have already posted links that violate my own diet. Notably, and as an examp0le, there are Vegans who actually eat Paleo, because they use real, ancestral foods. Obviously they are not the norm, so I have to agree that a separate Vegan Trail is needed. I hope to post on this something like Tuesday and Friday. 

**Yoga Trail -**
This one is mostly for me. I might post on this any day, but Wednesdays and Saturdays are the goal. The extra posts will be when I learn something, or need to re-invigorate myself in my own practice. I like posting things from beginners, new teachers, and older people (like myself) who are getting back into it. There are some people who are doing very well posting on this topic, and maybe I'll highlight them one by one as time goes on. <hr>
I know some people don't like the SteemTrail economic model. And I respect that. But I have nothing to do with that. I just want to promote the accounts for the benefit of the authors, the readers, and my own personal goals. 

So please take a look at my posts on these accounts (below), read the authors which I upvote, resteem, follow, and also review, and check out the commentary that I personally write for the account. Thank you.
