Good morning guys, this is @bait002 the founder of the offline minnow school where minnows are mentored and groomed. In this post, I will be talking about one major tool that can bring a whole new turnaround to the STEEM ecosystem.
## There has to be provision for communities to thrive
It took me months to figure this out and I didn't get it actually until few moments ago. The steem ecosystem has little or no room at all for genuine community bu builders to thrive. The key to expansion is in communities. And true expansion only comes from the understanding of the power of building communities.
The boom we experienced in the late hours of last year was as a result of massive community activities. We have to learn to identify and appreciate this as the truth. We need to become community oriented in what we are doing.
## Where did the selfless spirit go?
One catchy line that became my favourite statement in terms of describing steemians was the statement "selfless steemians". I miss the days when steemians were 100 percent ready to spend and be spent for the furtherance of this ecosystem. Those were the days when the promo-steem spirit was ablaze and everyone excited to share the steem gospel with whoever they met. I miss the days when we always looked for an opportunity to talk about steem to our family and friends or mostly even total strangers.
## The steem economy did burst but our present attitudes can't mend it
Curators don't exist in the numbers they used to. That's probably because it's hard to measure and make voting power go round these days. Whichever way, I believe this is a test on our believe in what we have here. I believe and know this, it doesn't matter how tough the going gets, the true steemians will hold on. Those are the kind of hearts we want and need around. We can't have a community when each and everyone of us is only after what's okay for their personal good.
Now is the time we know the robbers. I believe, robbers don't stay around when there's nothing to steal. Sorry for the language use. But I believe I communicated my intentions. In the cryptosohere, only believe and faith makes things work. Steem is what it is today because some steemians or even strangers saw it as a point to buy even when it wasn't worth the risk. It doesn't get better by running off until everything's working fine again. No it doesn't!
I haven't said a lot lately, but I think I really need to say this! It's all about our believe and that believe instills discipline- the drive to keep holding until we all see the true beauty of what we started out to be a part of.

For those who seek to know what this project is all about, you can read that below;
## PHASE 1:
At this stage we teach some minnows a,t our offline classroom to help attain self-sustenance. These minnows will then work with us as a team, reproducing other minnows. Currently, we have just wrapped up with Phase 1. And Phase 2 which is more demanding kicked off already.
## PHASE 2:
This basically is the core of the vision is to raise steem-backed entrepreneurs of young people. The method through which we execute the absolute idea goes as follows;
* SKILL ACQUISITION PROJECTS: where various skills will be taught to foster the emergence of new entrepreneurs that thrive on voluntarism.
* THE MINNOW SCHOOL TALENT HUNT: we greatly hope to give minnows who are not really writers but have other gifts such as singing, painting, dancing, acting a platform to express themselves and get their creativity beyond their minds. Basically, we are giving these young people a voice and ultimately awaken the writer in them.
* THE MINNOW SCHOOL ART/MUSIC EXHIBITIONS: here talented young people will get to showcase their talents and the value they have to offer to the community. We will be sponsoring art projects and professional music careers will emerge with this.
