# P2P 사이트, 최소 투자금액이 중요한 이유!

분산 투자가 중요하다는 건 모두 아실 겁니까. 리스크를 분산한다는 측면에서 그런 거죠.

투자 주머니를 여러 개 만들어둬야 여러 주머니 중 하나가 손해가 나더라도 다른 주머니에서 그 손실을 만회할 수 있다는 겁니다.

P2P 투자에 있어서도 분산 투자는 역시 중요합니다. 하지만, 리스크 분산 외에 한가지 더 효과가 있는 측면이 있죠. 바로, 절세효과입니다.

현재 P2P 투자는 27.5%(이자소득세 25%와 주민세 2.5%)의 높은 이자소득세를 내야 합니다. 아직 P2P 관련 법안이 정비되지 않아서 금융당국이 P2P를 금융업이 아닌 중개업으로 규정하고 있기 때문입니다.
은행 이자소득세가 15.4%인 것에 비하면 배에 가까울 정도죠. 
참고로 3억원 이하의 복권에 당첨됐을 때에 내야 할 세금은 당첨금의 22%입니다.(복권당첨금보다 더 높은 세율이라니...ㅠㅠ)



**여기서 중요한 게, 원단위 절삭입니다.**
 
국고금 관리법 제47조(국고금의 수입 또는 지출에서 10원 미만의 끝수가 있을 때에는 그 끝수는 계산하지 아니하고, 전액이 10원 미만일 때에도 그 전액을 계산하지 아니한다.)에 의하면 1원 단위 이자소득세는 자동으로 삭감(원 단위 절사)됩니다.

P2P 사이트인 렌딧(https://invest.lendit.co.kr/invest)이 이러한 점을 근거로 "렌딧 투자자의 실제 세율은 평균 17.1%로, 원래의 세율보다 10%이상 낮은 수준"이라고 광고하기도 했죠.

예를 들어,

> 1. 1만원을 투자했을 때의 이자소득세 : 115원
> 2. 1만원을 5000원으로 나누어 투자했을 때의 이자소득세 : 57원*2건
> 1의 경우 내야 할 이자소득세는 110원, 2의 경우 내야 할 이자소득세는 100원이다. 이런 식으로 분산투자를 통해 절세 효과를 볼 수 있다는 것.

분산투자의 개념에 더해서 최소 투자금액을 낮추는 것도 높은 P2P 이자소득세를 조금이나마 덜 수 있는 방법이라고 할 수 있습니다.
