I would really value some input here from the community, not just because I lost about an hour's worth of time and work... to document the LiteCoin SegWit finally activating with news and screen captures which bums me out as I wanted to stamp it into the blockchain and inform people but if this is happening to others, we def. have an issue to deal with here guys!

I was having log in errors earlier.  I'm pretty sure that we are just having a major flood of users that are either new to the platform or returning to earn some quick crypto cash.  It's a sign of scaling, maybe we need more witnesses, who knows.

The thing with that is --- we were all told this platform was built to scale for many many times for what it has been doing the last year!

Graphene blockchain, should handle easily around 100 or 1000x scale what we are know.

That was roughly what we have always seen or been told so I am not sure what to say or what is shaking here.

I know I had a statist with me y-day and about 6 hrs after I posted, vs when I showed him the blockchain later, there was around 1100 new accounts.

Same as every other day is irrelevant to troubleshooting.  :)   That's typically the case.

I use Chrome on one screen, and Firefox on the other.    They do not operate 100% the same on steemit, they are different.    So if you continue to have problems you might give Firefox a shot.

I've never lost my post content and I've accidentally clicked BACK before and such and come back and my content was there.

I do @dwinblood on Firefox and @chaospoet on Chrome.    I don't post as @chaospoet very often as I have to be in a very particular mood. :)

EDIT: ALso if there is a bug, then knowing Browser and such is very important to helping get it fixed.   That's why I asked.

It has been working fine for me today.  No problems to report, but I didn't try to post anything except short comments.  I usually work on a separate file and copy and paste just in case of those kinds of issues.  I've lost tons of data over the years from programs just plain locking up and hardware failures.

My guess is the servers the Steemit site is running on are having trouble keeping up with the increased load.  Hopefully we will get some better information on it.

In the meantime, it would be best to copy your post to notepad (or some other text editor) right before you submit, just in case it happens again.
