I'm thankful for @karenb54 because even though she has considerable pain and struggles of her own, she is always kind and encouraging to other Steemians, always has something positive to say! She has also worked hard to produce interesting, inspiring, and always improving content for us to read.

I also appreciate @jlufer for his frequent kind comments. He "gets around" the platform and leaves encouragement for many, many writers. He also finds and publishes fascinating collections of photographs, and tells many very intriguing stories and legends of his native land. Steemit is also a significant source of income for him, helping him to support his family.

I'm thankful for @timcliff  -- he keeps everyone updated with all the latest things going on steemit and he's a witness too..

He also re-steems good posts and a very nice guy.  If you need someone who is really active and knowledgeable, I'd follow him.

I'm grateful for @papa-pepper. Some of you may have seen my comment explaining in detail why I think he's great; when he reached level 74 (https://steemit.com/thankyou/@papa-pepper/because-of-you-papa-pepper-is-still-climbing#@avarice/re-papa-pepper-because-of-you-papa-pepper-is-still-climbing-20170406t090105533z), and he continues to embody all of those things and more; producing great content and making Steemit an enjoyable platform to be a part of ☺️

I'm grateful for you, Barry- thanks for everything you do for those around you , and for Steemit. Cheers, man!

Grateful for you Mr. Dutton, for getting me on here in the first place and making me take a much bigger interest in Crypto-currency :-)

Excellent post dear friend @barrydutton, very good initiative, for me it is very difficult to name a person, because I am very grateful of many that at some point of my stay on the platform have helped me, I have many good colleagues who are magnificent people And they are very important to me, I also made many friends that I love, respect and admire. Every day I am amazed how wonderful this platform is, one does not realize the extent of it and how it makes us present in the memory of people.
Thank you very much and very grateful of all those who have supported me to be present and to continue on the platform.

One or two people... That's hard actually..

I'd go with @dan ( @dantheman ). - **Why?** - Because he's more or less the main reason I had such fantastic rewards on my content when I first started out. And no, I don't mean cash-rewards alone. I'm talking about followers, readers and cash rewards. He made my content visible for hundreds of readers, and I'm truly thankful for it.

So Dan is my first choice. No question about it. Besides him, I'd go with: @blocktrades, @ned, @smooth and @berniesanders.

**Why?**
First of all, for the same reasons I already stated above. They helped me a lot to reach the success I had. I remember that **Smooth** upvoted two of my older posts, when he first upvoted my content. Posts I published two-three weeks earlier. So he was the first whale I saw to ever upvote old content. - That was a huge deal for me.

**Ned**: Well, just for being Ned actually. I'd love to see more engagement from him though. More posts etc. But I can understand why he don't have as much time as others.

**Blocktrades:** for his crazy upvotes on my content, after Dan helped me out the most. I truly appreciate all the help I got.

And the last guy I'd mention, is **berniesanders**. And why? - Well, bernie seems to be an odd, weird, cool and awesome person at the same time. Ever since I joined, I've seen him doing some "weird" things. He followed his heart, passion or whatever it was.. But he was upvoting content I couldn't find other whales upvote at all. He helped me and a ton of other contributors a lot *"back in the day"* (when we saw the super high payouts), and he's been doing "whatever he wanted too" ever since that day.. And that's amazing in my opinion. No matter how much others might hate him or dislike him.. He's been Bernie all the way. And that's awesome.

Shit.. I wasn't supposed to mention more than 2 people.. Oh well. That's it then. - Besides these guys, I'd go with every single person on the Steemit platform.. Because you are you. - And you're all fantastic!

I am thankful for @tangmo. she posts beautiful and interesting photos and stories from Thailand and she is always so kind and gracious and comments even if there is no reward as a true friend.
I am also thankful for @old-guy-photos who have inspired me and encouraged " Even mundane things are interesting up close" 
And I'm thankful to so many others that are being kind and friendly and take the time to comment and interact.

@dan for steemit and @stellabelle for inspiring me consistently.
