MONEY MATTERS (are you enjoying the freefall?)

Do you feel it? Some lost apparently hundreds of thousands while others saw their posts just steadily deflating like a balloon that got pricked and is squeaking out all the air to just be a limp shell of its former self. What happened? What is happening? Trying to ask you get either dead silence or so many different explanations that you figure nobody knows what the hell is going on. The Hardfork had many jumping for joy as their posts were peaking at such a rate people were talking of becoming professional Steemians and quitting their dayjobs. Then it was the EOS rush where the big players pretty much checked out watching the markets and flipping out over glitches in the matrix. Maybe Gordon Gecko was wrong that "Greed is Good!", sometimes clusterforks like this happen because of everyone chasing the proverbial carrot. There is something to be said for patient security building versus get rich quick types. :)

Just as absolute dread or panic set in as apparently the Chaos Factor played out....things MAY seem to be sort of self-correccting. Today the cloud seems to be lifting, things seem to be crawling into the right direction. The deflated balloon seems to be refilling? Many said that was the result of HF20 which takes 3.5 days average price of the steem token.

I also observed that many whales started/stopped upvoting their very own comments and posts. Because of the missing clear picture of HF20 how it would result.

May be wait for some time to get more valid clarifications from the crypto geeks like ned, jesta....

I had been wondering the same thing the oast days. I thought maybe that lots of other posts are receiving upvotes? But it had been the same for everyone I know too. So it must be something else... It is almost dreadful to look at yiur post valuation daily seeing it deflate lol. First time I came across hf20 from other comments, will be reading more about that.

there was a graph showing the drop off, this isn't helping minnows, it isn't helping the middleclass , but maybe that was the point, I don't know too many people who are happy at the moment

Yeah, actually after hf19 what I've noticed is that upvotes have come harder for minnows. And the gap on $ value of posts is widening, it's almost like there's a whale-clique lol. But that's reaping off your investment I think, or for at least being an early adapter of steemit. 

Need to be super duper awesome to standout! Challenge accepted!!!

Either that or invest tons of money on steem power haha.
