6 unidentified flying objects, traveling at extreme speeds and performing movements like 90 degree turns that are impossible for our modern aircraft.
They returned a week later & managed to outrun an Airforce jet
This still unexplained event spurred the creation of the government's "Project Bluebook" in 1952, which investigated 12,168 UFO reports.
It was shut down in 1970 and the subject became taboo.
However, in 2017 it was revealed that another project had been running since 2007.
Hmmm this is interesting, it seems like this subject hasn't always been treated with such ridicule.
Was this the first time that Americans had interacted with what seem to be extraterrestrials?

Fast forward to 1944, 1 year after Tesla's death: Allied pilots begin to encounter advanced craft in both the European and Pacific theaters.

Rosewell, New Mexico June 14th 1947
While the government claims the event was simply a downed weather balloon, a recently declassified FBI document show July 1947 discussions of not only disc craft, but of beings
Non-Earthly beings.
This is in addition to a '50 document sent to Director Hoover from a field agent
The 1950 document describes the recovery of 3 saucers in New Mexico.
This is now the most viewed document on the FBI website, and its legitimacy not contested.
This "Four Corners" area, where Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona meet, is a hot zone for such events <- remember
Turns out to be a very important year for America
Just 3 short months after Rosewell, on September 18th,1947 (exactly 72 years before UFOs confirmed) BOTH the CIA and US Air Force were founded
These new departments made it much easier to hide UFO information
One other event of 1947 is important to include.
The return of Admiral Byrd's "Operation Highjump"
A supposedly non-military mission, it is odd that the fleet included 4,700 men, 13 ships, and 33 aircraft
What is a more likely mission? Could it have to do with hunting Nazis?
WWII, and some had been found to have escaped to South America.
Is it possible Byrd had been sent to flush any forces that may be further south?
His March 1947 interview in Chile is interesting.
Not only does he warn that America needs to prepare from attacks originating from the poles, but also that the world was shrinking at a "fantastic speed" due to advanced aircraft technology.
Could he have been talking about UFOs? And if so, where did the Nazi's get this tech?
Enter the "Vril Society" the elite Nazi occult group lead by Maria Orsic who claimed to be in psychic contact with extraterrestrials at around the same time Tesla was.
While this may seem crazy, its important to remember CIA docs show "Project Stargate" explored similar things
Maria Orsic claimed to have been in contact with the beings who were once known as the Sumerian gods.

The beliefs of this group is said to mimic ideas shared in a 1871 novel "The Coming Race"
Its plot revolves around an advanced Atlantean race that survived the flood by moving underground.
This is where Hitler's "super race" obsession comes from.
This may be why in 1923 Karl Haushofer lead an expedition to Tibet to make contact with the "Aryan forefathers" that they believed to live in the place called "Shambhala" in Vajrayana Buddhism
Monks supposedly guard the city, with the Dali Lama as their head representative.
This might also explain the reasoning behind the Nazi's choice of the Swastika as their symbol
They took this ancient eastern symbol of luck and reversed the direction of the design
This idea of an advanced underground civilization under the Himalayas is interesting as this is a rare area of Earth with a double-thick crust.
This is from the Indian tectonic plate colliding with the Asian one, which formed the mountains.

So what do we find in the ancient lore of the 4 corners region?
Well, the Aztec and Hopi tribes both claim to have originated from the caves in this area.

Back to the east, we can see actually mention and description of UFO like craft in India
The Vimanas and Vailixi are two types of ancient craft described in the ancient Verdic texts of the East, specifically the Indian Mahabharata
They too have underground gods called Nagas
This is one of those
"as above, so below"
type of situations.
It seems that these advanced craft possessing beings may have just as deep a connection to the underworld as they do the heavens
