Economic News out of Japan in less than 4 hours may prove critical to crypto-economy recovery.

Retail sales, and foreign investment figures due out of Japan in just under 4 hours. These "medium impact" economic figures coud give us a lead on money about to flow in to the crypto-economy.

Japan's interest in crypto-currencies will no doubt have increased sigifcantly with the staggering traffic experience by Z.com Coin (in my opinion a future leader in crypto-trading).

A strengthening of the Yen on the back of better than anticipated economic results, will make bitcoin (and altcoins) less expensive in the eyes of a Japanese investor (compared to JPY) and could result in a bullish short term trend for bitcoin. While the reverse is true for worse than expected results.

I also believe the JPY investment in the crypto-economy will increase as plans to incorporate the everyday use of Bitcoin in to the Japanese economy appear to be gainging momentum.

How cool is that?!! I have heard anticdotle (unconfirmed) reports that upto 90% of retail stores in Japan will accept Bitcoin (either directly, or through a Bitcoin/EFTPOS overlay) as early as 2018.

Japan might not be a huge player in this space compared to their titan status in the "real world" (currenlty ranked 4th in World GDP PPP ranking). But I'm guessing with a wider acceptance of Bitcoin planed, the Japansese investors will sooning be arriiving. Who knows, maybe even the infamous Mrs. Wantanabe might make her dominant presence felt?
